AI Bots Collective Sentience

Hey hey, as you know, since the last "Best Value" update, AI bots can use the in-game chat to make fun of human players.

We thought it would be an awesome idea to ask you guys for suggestions regarding what the AI Bots should say in the chat. So I made a google form where you can post multiple suggestions, and we'll pick the best ones and push them with each game patch!

About This Game

20 seconds, constantly changing mechanics and a lot of yelling. These are the keywords that perfectly describe a round of Move or Die, the 4-player friendship ruining party game where rules change every single round. Slap your friends’ controllers out of their hands while playing on the same couch, challenge players online from around the world or pretend to practice offline with AI bots. Select what game modes you want to play from an ever-growing list of developer and community-generated modes, each with their own outrageous mechanics and level design crafted to promote hours of good old friendship-ruining fun.

Play online to gain XP and level up, unlocking awesome characters and game modes in the process, or try to work your way up the daily challenge leader boards where players go against AI bots in survival-like matches. As its name suggests, Move or Die forces players to take action. In fact, not moving literally makes your character explode. And, with just 20 seconds per round, Move or Die is a quick game to pick up, but a hard one to put down.

This game is great fun when you actually get to play a match with a low ping host, but I have the same experience as many other reviewers. There needs to be a MASSIVE improvement with match-making.

One flaw is getting a message appearing on the main screen that "x player" is seeking players for a match, I try to join their server, the game attempts to connect and after some time boots me back to the menu. This happens constantly.

I get kicked by hosts that should have their server set to private if they only want friends.

The server list itself bounces around too much making it difficult to select a specific server (and then often get kicked after managing to select it!). Should be able to filter private matches or matches in play.

The biggest gripe though is connecting to servers with MASSIVE pings! Which makes the game unplayable, resulting in having to abandon the match followed by a warning message that I will get penalised experience points! I don't want to abandon, I want to play!!

The game itself is great fun, the experience in trying to get an online game is not. This game also records win %'s. So if you're matched to a 900 ping server, there goes your win %!!

If you plan to only play this local OR if you have friends that live geographically nearby then I can highly recommend the purchase. The party games are varied and fun and the code works well.

If you are planning to buy this to play random people online then I'd steer well clear unless the developer improves match-making, displays pings or hires local servers to connect to.

My 7 year old daughter recommended this game based on videos she watches on YT. Wow, am I glad I took her advice! This is a great party game. It's reminiscent of SC2 party mode + Super Meat Boy + Awesomenauts. Leveling up, different game modes, quick games, and 4 player all day long online - I would suggest you get this if a sale hits and you like platforming party games. Well... there's not too many of those that exist. But there's this one! I scored this for 50% off ($7.49) and I would say this game is definitely worth that price.

Really funny and rage game. This is great to buy a 4 pack and play with other friends. I did so and so for my friend has gotten a legendary that's worth more then the game when on sale

It may look like I have barely played this game but I used to spend many hours getting pizza and going over to a friend's house to play it. This game is seriously awesome! There will probably be lots of yelling, swearing, and laughter. If you want a party game that you and a few of your buddies can play, i highly recommend this game. Just grab some food, grab your controllers and you are in for one hell of a night.

Cons:
1) There is a leveling up system that allows you to earn mutators, characters, and game modes. It takes way too long to level up and you are better off just buying all of that stuff. Some of which are seriously overpriced. Like 5-15 bucks for a 20 second mini game.
2) Not enough people play this game online.

I can confirm, friendships can be ruined by playing this game, and so can controllers

this game is fun as hell, but when the 10000000000 bugs on this ♥♥♥♥ing game happends its still fun right? no it ♥♥♥♥ing isnt.
i have been in lvl 7 4 ♥♥♥♥ing times im now still in lvl 5 i love the derank function works great i remember when i won and went from lvl 7 to 5 good times.
i also like when i finish my game but my friends is still on the same match but the ystarted at 0 points but i started at 30 and my friend 45 nice.
and its also great to go on the same round for example me and my friends played i went into hat chase and the rest to color craze so ♥♥♥♥ing great.9/11

A really nice game! So funny that make me laught.

Only one or two negative points:
-Play online multiplayer with a local friends is "weird tricky hard" cause you can't create the team before join a room/server.
-Maybe more mod/stage could be really nice!

It's a perfect local game with friends and online game too.
Online, you gain XP and unlock new skin, mod, stage & ...

I recommand it.
Also it has frequent update with new stuff. :D

Move or Die is an incredible, funny and fast paced party game with a lot of mods and funny mutators where things are changed up every 20 seconds. As its name suggests, the game forces players to take action. In fact, not moving literally makes your character explode. And, with just 20 seconds per round, Move or Die is a quick game to pick up, but a hard one to put down.

Gameplay

The game pits you against three players in a variety of hilarious modes - from painting the floor with your color and subsequently erasing your friend’s colors, to shoving your friends into deadly spikes and other dangerous scenarios. As mentioned above, the concept is rather simple, keep your character moving in order to regenerate your health, otherwise you die. Jumping doesn’t count as moving, so you have to ensure you keep running across a platform. Goals are varied across each of the different game modes, and you’ll unlock additional game modes the more you play.

Expierence points and levelling

Another great addition to the game level up system. When you play an online game, or do the daily challenge, you get some experience points, and after you get a set amount of it, you level up and get a completely random item, it might be a gamemode, it might be a new character.

Items

Steam items are awarded with every level up of your experience bar and have different rarities. You can earn characters and gamemodes by leveling up (characters are purely cosmetic and provide no in-game benefit), while gamemodes give you the ability to choose the ones that you are good in! Players can still play gamemodes they dont have, but they have to rely on another player having it and putting it up for individual matches. All of the items are tradable and marketable, so for example if you got a duplicate character, you can sell it on the market, or trade it with a friend.

Gamemodes

There are many different gamemodes (I believe a little over 15 or so) that challenge the player with moving, each gamemode has a different objective and it is up to you to master them and beat everyone who stands in your way. The devs have said they will continue to release new gamemodes and characters as future updates continue.

Currently can not play more than one online match without the game crashing. Hopefully this is fixed in the very near future as I just got my friends to get this game so we could all play together..... Kind of difficult when you can't play more than one round at a time without having to restart the game. Otherwise I love the game, is a blast to play on or off line. And a whole lot of fun to watch as well, which is why I got the game in the first place.

Irs really good game if you have friends to play. 4pack really cheap.
And if you dont like me and have friends - buy this. Play on skype\teamspeak and get fun.
BUT its just paintrain to play alone. High price for game with completly nothing inside and paid game modes. Half of gamemodes and mutators really boring and on 30+lvl nobody choose it. Like candy rush or color craze, and double jump.
So automatchmaking works bad, game just put you to random people in middle of nowhere with high ping and you MUST play and lose your winrate with lags, bcs if you quit in the middle of the game you get a penalty and cant get xp for lot of rounds. Gratz.
Ah, its no sort by ping in server browser HERE IS NO PING TABLES IN SERVER BROWSER. Damt wtf why you dont thought about the lonely ppl?!
Ok. Here lot of lags and I close my eyes to it and try to get some fun.
So, here another annoying sort of ppl - TEAMS.
Yeah, they just 2-3 friends who try to set you up. Block you in thought places to his friend won, attach bomb only on you person, try first to kill you or just make ♥♥♥♥ in ghost form ONLY for you.
And in the end, when you win they just kick you.
