Attractive and well constructed but take note of my caveats.

I received this item free for review but despite that kindness I'm absolutely candid about the item below.

* Solid construction; not likely to fall apart. Very sturdy.

* Level of protection is reasonable but not great. It won't save your laptop if it's hit by a car.

* Careful on sizing. I got the 15-inch version and the diagonal measurement inside is 19 inches. The sizing on these assumes a pretty thick laptop so if you have a thinner notebook or tablet be sure to take that into account

* Attractive designs; those buckles are not really operable though. There's velcro under the straps that's LOUD. You won't be able to sneak this sucker open in a lecture hall.

LOVE THIS CASE! I have received so many compliments on this! It does get show the bulge of the charger but that doesn't change the fact that this is still a beautiful case. If the bulge bother you too much just order the size up.

pretty and functional

It looks very sleek and fits my 11.6 inch lap top nicely. The reason I purchased it was for a professional look and I certainly have that. I am also a sucker for textures and the felt is very nice to the touch. The velcro straps are snug and I have no fear that the lap top will spill out: I tested this by shaking it upside down and side and to side.

The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is that the secondary pocket is really too narrow to fit my lap top charger without a somewhat unattractive bulge. Something flat would fit fine and I can stuff a pad of paper and writing utensils into it without an issue. The charger though makes it bulge and I don't like how that looks. It is not aesthetically pleasing to me.

I also tried placing the charger on top and in the same pocket as the lap top but I'm somewhat concerned that it will end up scratching the lap top cover. Also, a bit of an unattractive bulge.

If I was just planning to transport the lap top without an additional purse/bag I'd be annoyed but because I bought this specifically to fit nicely into my messenger bag, I'm fine with also storing my charger separately in my bag rather than causing the bulge. Also, it's not like the product lied about its ability to fit the charger: the description of this product is actually pretty on target. I just think it's a bit quixotic to also say that a charger can fit in this nicely.

So bottom line: I like this purchase quite a bit and the one inconvenience is not being able to put my charger in this without it bulging.

I'm beyond content with my purchase of this felt case. I purchased it for my MacBook Retina 13 inch which fits adequately. It doesn't leave too much room for the charger without creating a sizable bulge, but I don't consider that a deal breaker unless perhaps you don't tend to carry other bags or purses simultaneously.
There are two pockets which is nice (I can fit my Macbook in the larger one, and my Wacom Bamboo tablet in the smaller one, though it leaves a slight bulge between the "straps"). The velcro they have used for the closing straps has a pretty firm grip as well, so I wouldn't be worried about anything popping open.

I can't say much else as I've only just received this product and have yet to take it out and about, but it looks nice and seems quite sturdy. Obviously it's not an unbreakable, Otterbox-like case for your laptop, but for carrying your laptop on the go and for the sake of aesthetics, it's quite nice.

Anyways, I bought this for my cousin's new macbook pro and he really liked it a lot! He was even happier that it wasn't the color that I originally wanted to get him - hot pink! LOL! He said that this color grey was unisex and he wouldn't be ashamed to walk around campus with it...lol! So we definitely have a winner here and he STILL keeps it in great shape!!!

I got an new tablet for Christmas and decided to get something nice to slide it in before I went off to school. This fit the bill perfectly. My tablet (HP Envy 2-in-1) is a little over 14" wide with the stylus attached to the side. I ordered the 15" version of this sleeve to make sure the tablet fit inside comfortably. It fits in the case with room to spare. I will be able to carry my tablet plus a couple thin books, a pad of paper, pen, and my phone.

The case is made of thick, soft felt and it seems to be very well put together. I like the faux leather grip at the bottom. The Velcro on the straps (the buckles are fake, if you were wondering) is secure and fastens tightly. The case looks very sleek and more expensive than it really it.

So far I am very pleased. I will try to update my review once I have actually carried it to class a few times.

Premium look and feel without a premium price!

This case has two compartments. The larger compartment fits my 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro perfectly. The smaller compartment can fit a small charger, cell phone, notepad, pens, etc. The material feels like tweed or wool (although, it is not wool). It might be water-resistant (although, not waterproof by any means). I think this bag will last a long time. It looks pretty sleek from the side view unless you stuff the small pocket to the max.

I do have one suggestion: It would be nice if the manufacturer could incorporate some sort of a carrying strap or handle at the top while maintaining the nice aesthetics of this bag. Design it so that the strap can be removable by those who don't want to use it.

Overall, this is an excellent bag for the money!
