Lightning quick Super Machine!!

Just received my laptop a few days ago and I have to say this has everything I've ever asked for in a laptop. The combination of the quad core processor, the 16 GB's of ram, and the solid state drive makes this a lightning quick super machine. From the moment I turn it on to the moment I can start browsing the internet, watching videos, checking emails etc is approximately 12 seconds. From the moment I type in my windows password, I can literally start doing all computer activity in a mere 2 seconds. The graphics are great with a full HD display, and the speakers are decent (but I use this laptop only at home so I always have my bose speakers connected).

What can be a little deceiving from the picture is the trackpad. After I purchased the computer, I looked at the picture again and noticed that the left/right mouse buttons were at the top of the trackpad, not at the bottom (like the majority of laptops out there). This had me pretty worried but when I received the laptop, I had a sigh of relief. This laptop actually has two left/right mouse buttons, one at the top which is visible (i'm assuming this is for gaming) and one at the bottom as well which is built into the trackpad so it's invisible. Anyways, the trackpad is amazing with great touch sensitivity and movement.

I bought this laptop for $749 and now It's down to $679. I'm a little bummed I didn't purchase it later, but oh well, it's still worth every penny. Anyways, overall this is a great machine and for the price, you cannot find a better laptop on the market. A must buy.

I was looking for something very reliable since we use electronic medical records and I can't have the system breaking all the time like my old dell computer did. Great Product, Upgrades are nice!

Size: 16GB RAM + 1TB 5400RPM Hard Drive

Bought the 16gb ram, 1tb hd model. Not the fastest thing on the market but has more than plenty power by far! As for gamers it can run Borderlands 2 full detail no problems fyi. Opens and closes windows and programs quickly. and battery life is 5 hours or more even watching movies. I took it on a plane today watching dvds and worked both flights and during the 2 hour layover. It is however plain and not fancy as far as cosmetics go, but runs like a champ. Great buy for a dependable laptop that simulates the power of a desktop. Me personaly I kinda like the "boring" look of a think pad.
Cons... you cant adjust dedicated video memory. I expected to be able to thus why i ordered the 16gb model

Some stated that the problem is a bad hard drive or even the cables

I received the laptop on time. No complain about that, however, as stated in other comments, laptop shows the blue screen even when navigating in internet for a few minutes. Few times in an hour!!. Some stated that the problem is a bad hard drive or even the cables, other says it was the machine was too hot. In my case, it was a bit different. After trying checking disk, trying installing or checking for drivers with windows update and making sure the computer was not in a hot environment, I still faced the same blue screen problem.
What I did was to be prepare to take a picture of the blue screen, I was able to and I found out It was the video card driver. The problem was the "atikmdag.sys" file. Looking at internet, I discovered it was a driver for the video card.
I went to the amd support page and downloaded the latest video drivers available for Win7(from july 2015). I have tried the computer for a couple of days without the blue screen problem.
Right now, the computer is just used for checking emails and navigate the internet, but that scenario showed up the blue screen problem in the first place. I will keep and eye on this and If I get the blue screen again I will post an update.

My recommendation to all of you who are getting the blue screen, take a picture of the blue screen error and google it.
It may be related to drivers, however, do not trust windows update to do the job. Go to the manufacturer web site and download/install the latests driver for your configuration from there.

Other than that, the computer is fast enough for what It will be used for.
Screen may be better but I can live with it
And for the price, I think this computer is a real deal

not good

Sometimes my keyboard stops working. Usually when this happens my mouse will not be able to select any links on a webpage, only left click and save when that is not the request I am making. The only solution I have found is restarting it but I don't know what causes those functions to stop working. In the middle of using it the screen turns to lines and starts making a buzzing noise and all I can do is hard restart.

**The one that I received did not have R7 M260DX 2GB / IT CAME WITH R6!!!!!

***After doing some more research ,the computer is correct, there are two video processors, onboard R-6, and a stand alone R7 M260DX 2GB, Hence two different drivers in device manager!!!
