The Techni Mobili Rolling Laptop Desk with Storage works with you to get it all done. Rolling on casters for easy storage in the dorm or home, this desk features a single drawer and two shelves for storage. It is made of heavy-duty engineered wood panels with a moisture resistant PVC laminate veneer and a scratch-resistant powder-coated steel frame. Two of the fours non-marking nylon casters include locking mechanisms. The desktop has a 90 lb weight capacity, the drawer can hold up to 10 lbs, the top shelf has a 50 lb weight capacity and the bottom shelf can hold up to 70 lbs. COLOR: Graphite.

This desk is great! The drawer sold me on it and the extra shelves are wonderful! I think this laptop desk is sturdier than many others that I see being sold since there are two legs instead of one. If I was going to have this desk directly in front of me I think the middle shelf would be in the way of my knees but I have it off to the side so it works well for me. Just something to think about.

I'm glad my last laptop desk broke!

I'm happy to have had the need to replace my last laptop desk. THIS laptop desk is the best one I've ever used. It's very sturdy compared to the typical rolling stands with only a single arm to hold the table. The extra shelves are a plus and the drawer, while not very deep, is big enough for the few things I use it for and was mainly what sold me on this item. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this item. The one thing I would recommend is this: when building the desk, the manufacturer suggests you put the two wheels that lock on the front. Presumably this is to make it easier to quickly lock and unlock the brakes for moving. The problem is that is makes it TOO easy and I'm constantly locking it from tapping it with my foot, etc. Since I'm on carpet, I don't really need a brake. But if I do, putting them on the back is still extremely easy to access and keeps me from engaging it constantly, which makes the desk shutter and shake and in danger of pitching forward when I go to roll it out of the way quickly and don't realize that the brake is engaged until their is already the possibility of an accident. Also, it does not adjust up or down, but it's a very small price to pay... I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Great for my application

This was not the cheapest option for a laptop stand, but it fit my application the best so I gave it a shot. My overall impressions are: It went together fairly easily and is very sturdy. The drawer is very smooth and useful. It rolls decent on normal carpet even with weight on it. Also it is fairly light weight and I have no problem carrying it up and down stairs by the top shelf fully loaded.

My application: I used this as a mobile gaming/TV cart with great success. I mounted a 24" monitor on a swing arm to the back of the stand. Also, I have a small laptop, power strip and wireless TV signal transmitter on the middle shelf. With all of this, it is still very stable and I can still carry it as described above. I can put the monitor as high as it will go and swing it so it is hanging off the back side of the cart with no problems.

I am very happy with this cart!

Boy, this is nice!

I was replacing an old, faux wood, clunky computer cart - the kind made out of laminate-coated particle board with a slanting front cover. This baby held all the stuff I had on the old cart in about 1/3 of the space, felt like it took up 1/4 of the space, looked good while doing it, and all in all was quite nice.

My only caveat, and the reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the instructions could have been clearer: It's best to put the shelves in before tightening the side screws, so you don't distort the legs unnecessarily, then have to loosen them back in order to fit in the shelves.

Great desk for a great price!

I was looking for a printer cart to hold my printers. Due to the nature of my business, I have several including a multifunction ink-jet, a multifunction laser, a NeatDesk Scanner, a Cricut and a photo printer. A couple of them are on my U shaped desk, but it was getting too cluttered. The multifunction printers, although they have a small footprint, are large for the desk.

I received it quickly and it was very easy to assemble. It has a draw under the first shelf, that is great for holding supplies, paper, cords, whatever. I have the multifunction laser on the bottom, the Cricut on the top and the NeatDesk Scanner and Photo Printer on the middle shelf. The back is open easily allowing cables and such to go through the back of the desk with out looking messy. Everything looks neat and tidy. The cart has wheels, so it can easily be moved if needed. The wheels lock for keeping it in place. The shelves are deep enough and wide enough for the printers.

It's study and made well. There is nothing flimsy about it at all. I really like it and it makes my office look nice and tidy having the printers off the desk now, plus that gave me a lot more working room on my desk too.

It is a great desk, or printer cart. Either way, you can't go wrong.

Good item fits my needs

Works and fits well in a tight space. With the wheels it is quite mobile. The only issue is that I hit my knees on the middle shelf. Good item.
