Great replacement battery

Although this battery doesn't last as long as the original 9 cell battery that came with my Acer laptop, it is a cheaper replacement than the manufacturer's $80 deal. While playing videos on the "balanced" plan for Windows, it lasts about 3 hours. Otherwise, it's around 4.5 on the same power plan. I've had it for a couple of months, and have recharged and drained it many times without issue. I would definitely recommend this battery if you're looking for a cheap replacement or backup battery.

On a side note, it may seem at first that the battery doesn't fit into your laptop. The design of the battery holder makes it easier to remove batteries than to replace them, so it may take 5-10 minute of finagling until it finally fits into the slot.

I received my order a few days earlier than expected shipping date, but that's because I live in Texas and the manufacturer ships from California....not sure about the shipping time nationwide.

Battery was a perfect fit and did power the computer, however the computer had an "X" in the battery symbol so it could not see it to charge the battery. The original battery worked when re- installed in the computer therefore the replacement was defective. No problem in returning same and I received a full refund including all shipping charges.
