Dependable and inexpensive!

Always a bit skeptical on non-OEM replacement batteries, but I was not disappointed whatsoever. Performs perfectly. The real secret is conditioning the battery via the correct charge and drain sequences before you start depending on it to behave normally. It's about a 3 day process, but when I do this to start, the batteries last a LONG time. I have replacement batteries that have lasted 8 years and running, doing full-duty cycles constantly.

Wow, it's great to be able to unplug and last longer than 15 minutes. My older, original HP battery (also made in China) was 3+ years old and was fading fast. This battery seems to work VERY WELL, so far. It fit my laptop fine, charged quickly and allows me to unplug for about 3 hours. It's hard to believe the low price. I just hope it's a safe product. Mine doesn't have the same wording as the one in the photos. But replacement batteries are just that..... replacements for other batteries. So far so good.

Ok for the price

The battery gets the job done. Kind of. The life of the battery is around 2 1/2 hours or so. Most HP batteries I have used have a battery life of 4 hours or so when they are new. The other issue is that the battery does not fit the compartment of the laptop correctly. When picking up the laptop, you must make sure to hold on to the battery and/or not jar the laptop significantly, otherwise it will fall out. This makes it not ideal if you need to move your laptop frequently for school or for work. Overall, the battery works ok for my purposes, but keep in mind that you are not getting a true HP brand battery. It is a cheap knockoff and the price reflects this.

They gave me the instructions on what I needed to do to return the battery and to have the amount credited to my credit card. They were very professional and I would do business with them again.
