I was very disappointed in this product. The battery only worked for 2 weeks before failing to maintain a charge for my laptop computer. The product has caused me to think twice about purchasing anything other than brand new items.

Second time I have been disappointed with a purchase from Amazon

I requested a new battery for my HP notebook. I received a battery that did not fit my notebook and I had to correspond with the company that Amazon used to return the battery instead of Amazon. I also had to pay to have the battery returned. I informed the company via email correspondence, as instructed by Amazon, that I did not want to have another battery sent to me, but to give me a refund. My request for the label that should have been free due their error ended up costing me $5.67 as well as insurance and tracking fee. The company completely ignored my request and a few days later I received another battery. I was able to seat the battery in my notebook and the battery began to charge. I sent an email to the company stating that I was happy. Well, it seems I spoke too soon. The battery charged fully only once. To date the battery does not charge at all. I don't want to have to go through additional expense and email correspondence with the company Amazon chose to use. Needless to say, I will not do this type of business with Amazon again and truly wish I had not done this but gone to a reputable company such as Best Buy. I would not say I hate it, but I am seriously disappointed in this purchase and that Amazon is now choosing to do business in this manner. I have literally wasted my money due to the expense of purchasing the battery and having to pay to return it. I literally received nothing for my money. I am not happy.

Did not work at all

The battery didn't work at all. I put it in the computer and charged it overnight, and it did not run the computer at all after it was charged. It acted just like it didn't have a battery in it.

Disappointed with product

Ordered what I expected to be a working replacement for an oem laptop battery and when received, it would not charge in my computer. I am returning the product and would certainly not recommend this battery to anyone. I'm not sure why it won't charge but that's not my problem as the item is advertised as the correct replacement for the original battery which is running low.

Useful for a while, but then it dies out

Basically I bought this because my old laptop battery (the one that originally came with the computer was running critical condition).
It was a match to the battery that I had so I decided to purchase it since it was a fairly reasonable price (around 26 dollars when I bought it).
It worked for a decent few months.
It's now... July.. and I purchased it in November so that would be around 8 months.

I mean, I'm not going to completely hate because it did work.. but it only really gave me 2 hours or so from buying it at the start. Which for what is considered a new battery, not too good.
Regardless, I continued using it.

At this point, it's July and my laptop battery is in need of replacement. To be fair, I can easily multitask on my computer (not doing anything too drastic, let's say... average 50/60% CPU usage for an hour)
However, an hour of laptop battery is very minimal. So, I will be purchasing a new battery soon but it will certainly not be this one.

If you are going to use your laptop plugged in most of the time and your battery is shot and you need a cheap replacement.. OK...

but don't rely on this to actually replace your laptop battery if you are a person who uses your laptop often

After having it only 1 week.. It would only last 30 mins on a full charge. Very disappointed. I actually bought two and the other one seems to be ok. Clearly they have some defective batteries missed in or they are resaling returns so beware.
