For one third the price of the brand name Asus battery it absolutely rocks. I bought the 12 cell version for my wife's laptop and I couldn't be happier. She really is getting about 7 solid hours before needing a charge. Took a little jiggling to get it so seat properly. This is very common with aftermarket. So after a careful installation my wife is totally happy and I saved about eighty bucks. What's not to like!

Didn't work at first, but magically started working!

For an Asus UL50VT-RBBBK05 and an UL30VT-A1. At first Windows 7 couldn't figure out this battery and would hibernate without an AC adapter. Put battery aside and didn't try to use until recently.

Last week, I needed a battery to ensure hibernation. Inserted this battery and viola!...it works. I tested battery with DMM and output was 14.38v...slightly less than 14.8v listed on OEM. Still, it's been lasting for over 7 hours with High Performance.

Still a little worried about longevity and this battery is big (although I do like that it raises the laptop). If UL mean ultralight...battery should be labeled UB/H for ultrabig/heavy...however no laptop works without power.

Edit: I checked the battery specs and it was listed as 14.8v and 7800mAh. Nice. I'm not sure if this was a mistake by the seller, but I'll take the extral 2200mAh.

...this twelve cell battery is a about six ounces heavier than the OEM battery, and it raises the rear of the computer about half an inch. Typically runs for around seven hours. Good customer service on a rapid RMA from this seller.

Breathe new life into that old laptop

This battery lasts approx. 10-11 hours under light usage. It has a bit more capacity than the OEM battery (6600 mAh vs. 5800 mAh). It is also a bit larger, which causes it to stick out rather than be flush with the case. However, I don't find this to be a problem. I am overall satisfied.
