I bought it for my boyfriend who has a 17.3" laptop which fits perfectly in the computer compartment. However, the phone compartment on the strap was a little bit too small and he has a Samsung S4. Othewise I give the bag a 4.5/5. As for the shipping, it came earlier than the expected delivery.

Bag has fallen apart in under 2 years

Have owned this bag for around a year an a half. It has begun to completely fall apart. All of the seams inside the bad have tore and the zippers routinely come apart for no apparent reason. I would recommend going with a different more well known luggage brand if you are looking at this bag.

Pros:
- Padding seems adequate for the laptop and the items inside.
- My 17" ROG 750 fits well into this backpack.
- Side pockets store the power cord and a water bottle nicely.
- Roomy main compartment. The mesh pocket with Velcro at the bottom is nice.
- Chest strap is nice and keeps the backpack from bouncing too much when riding a bicycle.
Cons:
- Zippers and compartments started ripping after 4 months of gentle daily use. For a $100 backpack - unacceptable!
- Organizer pockets in the main storage compartment are poorly designed. Not one zipper on the inside. Only two slots for pens.
- Laptop storage and main compartment zippers are really close together. This makes it awkward sometimes to use either zipper.
- Cell phone compartment barely fits iPhone 4 and may not fit newer, bigger iPhones or other large screen smartphones.
- Butt-pad zipper compartment seems useless. It will not fit the power adapter for a ROG. It will fit the power cord that goes from the adapter to the wall outlet, but to store the cord and the adapter separately is not convenient.

Bottom line - backpack that starts ripping after 4 months is not worth $100. I do not recommend it. This review is purely subjective and contradictory to some other reviews. I'm glad other people seemed to have a good experience.

Don't waste time if you own a ROG G750 series

Wish I had looked at one in store have to force my G750 into pocket and bag won't stand up by itself the pockets inside are nice but stuff still moves around if my 15 year old targus bag would hold my laptop I would still be using it bottom line Asus good at making computers not good at making bags for said computers

Not satisfied, returned the item. Barely fit the laptop. Insufficient pockets for organization for travel. Only slash pockets, none that close and secure small items. Cushioning seemed bare minimum.
