Stopped working

I bought this to replace the original charger for my Asus zenbook. The reason I needed a new one was the old charger became loose and did not stay put when charging. I chose this over other cheaper versions because it was the original part for my laptop. A few weeks later this also started to get loose and no longer stays in place and every time you shift or move it falls out, this is clearly a design problem with Asus and will be my last purchase with the brand. Moreover it has no light like the original charger that tells you whether it's charging. Save your money as this really expensive charger will not last long and buy a cheaper one

Zenbook Adapter

I have a Zenbook and this adapter works better than the original. The original worked, but had a very loose connection so I had a difficult time charging it daily so I looked for a new adapter. After going to the store where I purchased the computer and every other electronics store, no one had an adapter that would fit so I bought this one and finally have an adapter that works. Well worth the money!

Simple to use, understand and reliable means to charge my Asus laptop. Eliminates the need for other laptop chargers as well. Bought a cheap charger originally, which wore out after about four months of use and had me paranoid about the state of my laptop's battery. Fear no dodges me and I know that it was only a charger problem.

Purchased direct from the manufacturer, not Amazon.

Exactly What I Needed

I was having a really hard time finding a replacement charger for my UX31e Ultrabook when I found this. The original asus charger that came with the laptop died after a few months. Then I had a cheap 3rd party charger that worked for another few months before it died.
I was a bit worried about using this since the original charger was a 45W but this has been great. Great build quality and it doesn't get too hot.
The only downside is the size. It is a bit annoying to travel with day to day.
