Don't let HP keep ripping you off!

I must say I hate HPs laptops for sole purpose of the scams they try to play on you. My girlfriend has an HP laptop she purchased a few months ago brand new. She takes this laptop to her college classes everyday. One day the charger went missing. She had gone to BestBuy to purchase another one and the HP brand charger would cost her 90 bucks (yea right HP). She bought the universal Insignia brand and of course it has a ton of HP tips but none of them fit her new laptop. I told her that I'll take care of it and looked up the model number here on amazon and found this charger, ordered it via overnight shipping and sure enough it works like a charm. And yes we returned that useless HP universal charger to BestBuy. Not BestBuys fault, it's HP for having wayy too many SKUs and nickle and diming people for every cent we got because each laptop they have ever made seems to have a unique charging plug. This charger works great and is well worth the price! Just be sure to match the model series with what is in the description to avoid a bad order.

Bought this power cord because I was not able to find an HP model for our new sleekbook whose power cord cracked and stopped working. This worked wonderfully. It fit a bit snug but this actually better as we keep the cord plugged in. The construction for this power cord is much more sturdy than the other cord that the laptop came with which quite literally fell 2 weeks after buying the laptop.

Awesome, Tight Fit!

Hi all,

Ordered this charger because of the great reviews. And as another person commented, I purchased a universal charger elsewhere that supposedly fit HP computers and it didn't work. Don't waste your time on buying one from BestBuy, Tigerdirect, etc.The insert for the charger on the sleek book has a long open space before the charger actually is all the way inside, that seems to be the issue for the universal chargers,as they are not designed to accommodate this feature.
This charger has an amazing fit. Like when I first got it and tried to put it in, it was not pushing in AT ALL. So I got upset thinking, oh noo not again. But the thing is, you have to push really hard, that's how snug the fit is. The charger seems pretty heavy duty and good quality. And the actual charger itself is pretty light. I have had the charger about 3 days now. No problems to report.

Great Charger

I bought this charger a year ago and had no complaints. After about 6 months of use the laptop plug-in broke off, although this had happened with the original charger the laptop came with so I was not too surprised. I suppose it happens after a lot of use and bending of the cord. I recently purchased the same charger again and hope to be more careful while using it to extend the life. Overall this has been a great product.

Power Pack for HPTS-15 Sleekbook

My daughter's HP power pack died suddenly and she needed her PC for school. I went on line and began the big search for a replacement power pack. This is the second power pack failed so I researched a bit more before selecting Pwr+. There were many choices but none were providing much in the way of reviews. Keep in mind

Just so you know, on some models of Sleekbooks, it's a little loose. It will NOT fit as tightly as the original. The charger end that goes into the laptop is a little longer than the port on mine, which I'm guessing is for it to fit ones with longer ports, so it doesn't go all the way in. Still works for my purposes though. Just push it in if it comes loose or wiggle it and it will be fine. Also it helps if you don't move your laptop around too much while it's still plugged in.

A pro about this is that it's way longer than my original cord which was disappointing short. It makes finding an outlet so much easier.
