CHECK WARRANTY & WATCH OUT for seller ADORAMA CAMERA

The ACER ASPIRE has been adequately reviewed by others. This review is to warn other buyers to exercise caution when purchasing from ADORAMA CAMERA and to review the warranty of Acer prior to purchasing. ADORAMA has a return policy which you will only discover when it is too late that if you open the computer box you can not return it even if defective. Rather you must send it to the manufacturer for warranty repair (good luck with that). The manufacturer may if they can't repair it replace it with a refurbished one, regardless of the fact that a refurbished computer is worth far less. At the same time, this will take so long that your warranty will have been eaten up just attempting to get the computer to work. Amazon supports this policy so filing an A-Z guarantee claim will not result in requiring ADORAMA to accept a return. If you do return it to ADORAMA they will refuse the deliver (per UPS this is their standard practice).
In an attempt to protect fellow consumers, I believe that a review of the product is not complete without a review of the warranty provisions of that item which you will need to be familiar with if you buy a defective item or if your item develops a problem during the warranty period.

I had an Acer Aspire for several years and was pleased with the job it did. When it finally died and I went shopping for a new one, I knew I could not beat the quality for the price on this one. I am pleased to say that it didn't take long for me to fall in love all over again!
