My current charger has a shortage in it, so i loked up my laptop type on the back of my laptop and its an acer aspire 5516.. Which is a model listed that this charger works for. Did it work? Nope. A waste of my time. it was really short unlike my current one and it doesnt charge my laptop

When I purchased this item the listing picture showed a male/elbow plug; now I see that it has been changed. Although the charger does work the cord falls out of the computer whenever it is moved even the littlest bit. It has been a real pain in the butt over the last couple of months. I am finally searching for a new one now. Also beware that the charger pack does get a bit hot at times and can hurt a little if touched. I sit with my laptop in my lap so it sometimes hits my leg.

It works real well but if you move the computer and or the table you might want to plug this into an extension cord. I moved a bit too far away from my plug in the wall and found the adapter was too short. But otherwise it works great. The delivery from the time I ordered it til it got to my home was right on time.

All the specs are right and it works. The only thing I don't like is that the plug into the computer is NOT at a right angle like the ORIGINAL cord. It sticks straight out. This is a minor thing, but still...it would put less stress on the receptical when moving around.
