We got this to power a laptop that our daughter lost the power supply to, I used it for about 6 weeks while I shipped for parts to build a new desktop, after I finished building it, this PS & laptop were stored in my desk drawer,last month I got it out to use and naturally the laptop was dead, so I plugged in the PS it lot up and started charging after a couple min a puff of smoke came out of the PS and it was dead so because I did not use it steady I didn't find out it was junk till it was to late to get a replacement, so I got 6 weeks out of it, it was cheap so IM not out alot but my big concern is if it damaged the laptop,I have to order another PS to find out, I won't use this brand and seller again, avoid this one people
