Quality vs Price

Had to buy a replacement charger for the laptop. Was looking for several other brands and thought the price was too much. Thus, I brought this product for the price. However, due to the price at first, I thought the Quality will be below average. Was I wrong.

The replacement charger did not lose to the stock when it come to the quality. Also, one thing I notice is that the replacement charger does not heat up as fast as the stock. That is a plus.

For the price, you cannot go wrong

Excellent replacement charger

My wife and I recently took a vacation. She works from home doing Interior Design - and I like videogames... so the Laptop travels with us on all vacations! This time, I forgot the Adapter for the Laptop and was forced to purchase a new one.

Visiting the local Best Buy was a waste of time as they only carry the universal adapter for low voltage / amperage laptops. Mine being an Asus gaming laptop I needed a more specific product. My local searches at a store called Batteries Plus were also fruitless as they did not stock the charger either. Enter Amazon.com.

Even adding in the charge for overnight air (I'm a Prime member, so it was only $5) this adapter was just over $30 less than I could have ordered it for through Batteries Plus!

The charger comes with nice thick cables (thicker than the stock adapter) with a handy Velcro strap for the thin laptop cord which is really handy for tightening up a long cord when you're actually working from your lap. The power supply itself feels like a nice sturdy plastic and is nicely textured (again, better than the stock adapter).

I've only used it for a week, and the only complaint I have (actually my wife has) is that the plug that goes into the back of the laptop is straight whereas the stock cord has a 90° bend making it slightly easier to maneuver around when plugged in. Overall, the Pwr+ is an excellent replacement (or in my case, 2nd) power supply.

Update..... its over a year later and this charger is still working great, in fact my wife prefers it to the original cord because the connection at the laptop is L shaped and doesn't get bumped as easily as the original adapter.

Works like a charm.

About two months before I got this the old charger I had for me G50v died. Then i went to get a new one, one of the cheapest ones i could find. At first it worked perfectly. Then over the course of a month its design flaw, namely the fact that the jack that pugs into the power slot wasn't the right size. The charger simply never made contact and would work for a mere few seconds, if i positioned it perfectly right. So I was forced to buy a new one. At this point i was worried about the same problem. Ten i bought this one. Promptly it arrived and I have a working charger. Its been a month and I'd say it has a long life left in it.

Perfect. Fit my wants and needs

I bought this cord as a secondary cord for easy transport for my laptop. It works great! No problems - it works well, doesn't get too hot and appears to made of quality materials! Wish the cord was a little bit longer but overall it is a great price for a great product!

I bought this to replace my power adapter for my ASUS G60VX laptop. The one that came with the laptop had a slowly over time wore out. I have had this power supply for about a week and I haven't had any issues with it. It does exactly what I expected it to which is power my laptop. It was also 1/2 the price Best Buy was trying to charge me, which earns it 5/5 stars.

If you need a replacement power supply for your laptop that this power adapter is compatible with, I'd reccomend it.

Great Replacement

We purchased this to replace a special edition Asus gaming laptop supply that had gone bad. Due to the specific nature of the supply, I was a little worried that a generic would work. It has performed flawlessly so far, and can even run the laptop just fine without the battery even installed. I would definatly reccomend if the specs match up (amps and watts) with your existing factory unit.
