This product was great for about a year, then it went bad. It still got electricity to my computer to use it, but it wouldn't charge the battery for anything (and no, it wasn't my battery which is only 2 months old). It works ell for awhile, but be ready to buy another in about a years worth of time.

Does what it should

If you've ever had the pain of losing a laptop cable (or having it chewed on to the point of malfunction by an overly-energetic kitten), then you know the sticker shock that comes with trying to purchase a replacement. Big Box stores want at LEAST $60 for a charger, and when you get it, you then have to test out fourteen different attachment heads just to find ONE that fits correctly!

I ordered this a few months back for my specific laptop, and it works just as it should. Charges my laptop with no problems, and the transformer doesn't turn into a molten brick like some models. All in all, an excellent purchase, especially for the price!

Very nice second charger for my laptop. I'm using it right now. I'm using it as my "travel charger". It's not that much smaller than the original charger, but that was not an important factor for me. It worked as soon as I plugged it in - both charging a low battery and keeping a full battery full. Appears to be of good quality, although that is more a test of time.

I sent my 7 series in for repair and Samsung wanted the power cord for some reason. They sent me a bad one back. I bought this rather than deal with Samsung again and my battery charges fast and stays charted. The 90W brick gets warm but they all do. I could live without the super blue LED but hey it was cheap and does the job it was intended for. Thank you.

Bought this because I left my adapter in a different town. It powers the laptop, the only reason why I don't give it 5-star is because it gets pretty hot. It won't burn you, but I don't think it should be that hot.

Update: I've had this for some time now and pleased to say it's working great. Very satisfied with this product.
