Good Replacement

Bought this charger to replace one that disappeared for my Samsung R480 laptop. I've had it for about 6 months now without any issues. I was a little hesitant with it at first since it doesn't push all the way into the charging port like the factory plug, (by about 1/16th of an inch), but that has not been an issue. I actually think it's about 8 inches longer then my original which is nice. Overall it does what it is suppose to do, and it hasn't given me any trouble, and since I couldn't find one ANYWHERE else, (not even Samsung website), I'm happy with it.

Highly Recomended

I would highly recommend this product as a replacement to what came w/ my Laptop. I wanted a second adapter just for the luxury of not having to unplug and unfish the original adapter every time I take my laptop out of my office. I read several product reviews on as many replacement adapters as I could find on Amazon for my PN: AD-6019R. Most of the negative reviews were based on the cord length, and the heat.

1. Cord length = 6" longer than the original A/C adapter in overall length from the wall plug to the laptop - the cord is 2ft longer than the original from the wall to the A/C brick, and then shorter from there to the laptop.

2. Heat = I thought that my original A/C adapter ran unusually hot, luke warm to touch - this unit is much cooler, I would say no warmer than room temperature.

Another complaint I read was about the brightness of the Blue LED vs the factory Green - it is brighter, but do you really need the power brick in front of you? I found it a moot point. Also, the fitment of the plug into the laptop is identical to original.

I would order this again if I damage one of the 2 I have. I have paid $100 for adapters on laptops past, and apparently you can't locally buy a universal that will fit a Samsung Laptop. I really wanted a Samsung branded replacement but clearly that isn't an option as they didn't even brand the one that came w/ my laptop - no disappointment.

This didn't even last a year before it fell apart. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk adapter.

The manufacturer really came through and stood behind their product. Up until the item unexpectedly fell apart, I actually quite enjoyed the product. It is a longer charger than I had been used to, and it served me well. After reading my review, Alex from PWR+ really showed me that they stand behind their product and are willing to show it through great customer service. I give all my thanks to PWR+ and I certainly know where I'll go next time I have any needs for a charger or a battery!

Better than my original

Bought for my laptop Samsung Q430. Left the original cord in a hotel room. Bought a replacement off the auction site which was awful. It had a short cord and wouldn't stay plugged into the power supply. Finally was fed up so I took a chance and ordered this one.

This cord is longer than the original, has a 3 prong plug on the power supply so it stays secure, a light on the power supply to let you know it's working..... it's fantastic! Highly Recommended!!!
