I have lost or left behind power cords for my laptop several times in my life, with the excessive business travel. Usually I go to the big box stores and pay $70-$90 for these. This replacement power cord was for my step daughter's laptop, which our new puppy seemed to enjoy thoroughly. I was leary of buying this initially because I couldn't believe the low price would give me what I was paying for. But I was pleasantly surprised. It worked as it should and now I have my new source for power cords. I am going to buy some back ups just to have around, since they are so affordable.

These power supplies work fine and I could have gotten 20 of them for what Dell or some of the other sites wanted. My wife and Daughter both have a dell and now my wife dosen't have to disconnect the power supply from her docking station when she wants to take her laptop with her.

Not worth it

You get what you paid for. I bought this charger in mid-February of this year, and the charger stopped working this morning. The green light won't turn on anymore, and I've been using my roommates for the time being. Cord was also very, very short and would come apart if I jostled it even the slightest bit. Over all, not worth the time or money spent on the charger. Go a little bit more pricey and save yourself the headache.

I bought this for our Dell Inspiron Laptop after our new puppy chewed the cord on our original charger. I was very skeptical because of the very low price (Dell wanted $60 for this)and wasnt sure if it would be compatible. Plugged it in and started charging w/o any issues! Great replacement charger

The charger works great and although the charger is rated at 65 watts the 2 of them i bought the computer is regestering at 120 watts so im not shure if the aftermarket charger isnt regestering correctly or they are more powerfull then there listed at. anyway seems like a good charger and they also work on my hp pavillion g series laptop.

circuit issues

This is a great bargain, and it works on my Dell Inspiron, paying $10 instead of $70 for a universal at the big box electronic store and having it work is always a good thing, the only flaw is that it cannot be plugged in on the same circuit with other electronics, you will get interference. All in all good deal!!

It does what I bought it for- time will tell if it holds up to the test. It will sometimes emit a high pitched whine while hooked up to my laptop, which can be a bit disconcerting.
