Doesn't Charge Laptop Battery

I hate leaving bad reviews but it's best for you to know before you buy right! When we received the product we were hesitant about it when we pulled it out of the packaging, it was much lighter than our original Dell charger but we figured you pay for what you get and $10 was pretty cheap. So when we plugged it in to our computer it said that the power adapter wattage could not be verified and that it would not charge. This charger is compatible with our Dell Studio but does not charge it. All it does is keep it on. As soon as we unplug it the battery is ready to die. We are planning on returning it as we did some saudering to our original to get it to work since this one didn't to the job.

Does not fit DELL Studio 1737

I bought this thinking that it was an amazing buy. It said that it would work on my DELL Studio 1737, but the connector is too small. It wont even charge my laptop with any amount of fidgeting with it. I am sending it back, hopefully I can find a charger that will work.

Functionality Concerns...

I chose to buy this item due to the price being significantly lower compared to many other options available. However, upon receiving the product I realized this product is likely only a short term solution versus a long term solution. The adapter charges the laptop as it should but I had problems with what I would call "functionality". The connection is very loose and just the slightest movement in the cord causes the connection to be lost. I'm constantly having to adjust the adapter so it's sitting just right and maintains the connection and continues to charge. If I place it in a position and am very careful to not move it (at all) I am fine. But even the slightest bump can create the need for readjustment. My current usage is to charge it at night (when it can remain completely still) and then run my laptop on the battery during the day. It's not ideal but it will work for now. I don't plan on returning the product but I will likely to have to invest in a more functional adapter in the future, so I guess I didn't save much money after all...

Stopped working

Bought in Sept 2011, and it no longer will charge my battery. It has always connected loosely with the computer and had to be careful not to wiggle it, or it would lose power, but now, the computer won't recognize it at all. I've babied it too, so it wouldn't get bent and break the wires or the covering. I would recommend another brand.
