Great buy!

I ordered this laptop desk prior to traveling and it worked well. It was so comfortable to use in the airport with my 11.6" laptop. I love the slide out sides that can be opened on the left or the right side. My laptop never slid off of the desk and my mouse did not slide off either. I use this on my lap, desk, and bed. This was a great buy.

It's perfect

I can't believe I ever lived without this. After the cooling fan on my laptop went out and I had to have it repaired, I knew I needed some sort of solid surface to put my laptop on to keep it from overheating. I tried using one of the cheap lap desks with the cushy undersides, but the one I got wasn't perfectly flat and my laptop would slide all over the place on it, plus it didn't have room for my mouse. While the rubber surface on this does seem to collect an unfortunate amount of pet hair, it is absolutely worth it. My laptop is a little larger, so it hangs over the edges on either side by about a quarter of an inch, but I don't mind at all. The mouse pad has ridges around the edge so I never need to worry about the mouse sliding off when the desk gets moved or sits on my lap in a slanted position. I also use it for my tablet, as there is just enough room to accommodate the tablet on it's stand and my bluetooth keyboard. With the rubber bottom I don't need to worry about any of it sliding around or falling over. It gets plenty of use and I have not noticed any sort of wear or breaking plastic.

This portable laptop desk works great. It is very comfortable (sometimes I set it on a pillow on my lap, sometimes just my lap), and it works exactly as I expected. I can rest my hand pretty comfortably when using the mouse without tipping the laptop (which surprised me). At the most, it took a slight shift to the left (I'm right handed) to correct the balance, but nothing inconvenient.

The Aidata lapdesk replaces the Logitech one that is no longer being made. Same features, quality as good or better.

I was disappointed when Logitech quit making a similar product, but I am not now. This one is just as good or maybe even better. It is just the right size for my 15 inch laptop. I am keeping this one and letting my kids have the Logitech ones. I insist that they use a hard surface to protect their computers from overheating and these things work great with or without a mouse. I love the built in tray and I am sure I will get plenty of use out of this when I have to walk around with my laptop while entering grades and checking on my students. Having a hard tray makes that so much easier to do. I still can't believe that people are trying to sell the old Logitech lapdesks for $150 or more. This is just as good and it is reasonably priced at $30 or less. Actually the built in non-skid strips on the bottom of this seem to be in place a little better. I don't think it will peel off as it did on one of my old trays.
