A Reliable Adjustable Cooling Pad

This cooling Pad has two fans imbedded in an aluminum platform top. It rests on a plastic stand that has 7 grooves in a black plastic base. This gives you 8 levels of height to choose from (including perfectly flat, making it more compact for travel). Though the base is plastic, it supports the metal platform amazingly well.

We have had no problems with the stability of this set-up. Ideally, it would be nice to be able to lock the stand in place (so there is no possibility of slippage due to human error).

A USB cord is included that allows the fans to be powered by a laptop or similar device. The running fans keep our MacBook cool and are remarkably quiet in the process.

I like it.

I waited to see how well this was going got do for me. The fans are not as strong as I anticipated from other reviews. I run a 17" Mac Book Pro and run several big apps on it. Plus when I connect my separate monitor to it, it can really crank out some heat. The fans are indeed helping. Just not as much as I had hoped. But I have never had fans before either.

If you are buying this for a Mac, here are a couple of things to note: 1) The tabs at the bottom to keep the laptop from falling off are too tall for a Mac. Macs are thin and these protrude too high. I had to trim them down as they were cutting into my wrists. 2) Macs sit very low to the table because their "feet" are just thin rubber pads. This made it difficult for the fans to make air flow under the laptop. I have to prop my Mac up so that there is a good flow underneath. Otherwise the fans do you no good.

I actually used it on my lap the other day and it was fine. Didn't hurt at all. The 17" unit was fine for that. But the smaller ones may be designed differently.

All that being said, I really do like the unit.

Worth the money.

Fully adjustable to every angle I could want. The fans use very little power from the laptop and keep it cool. When I am done with my Alienware after a long gaming session-Alienware operate a little hot-the bottom of my computer is cool. It was well worth the money.

ATTENTION ALL GAMERS! I looked threw a lot of cooling pads to play WoW on my mac book without it heating it up to the point of burning my fingers. This one didn't have a lot of reviews, but it did have good reviews. I'm SO glad I went with this one. It works so well, and when me and my friends play I can just sit on the couch or on a bed or where ever, because I have this awesome little desk/cooler. The only thing that is kinda annoying are the little ledges that hold it up, they cut into my wrist a little, but other than that its great!!!

I am in love with this product. I have a Dell Laptop with a 17" screen. I had been looking for a product like this for a long time and everything I tried did not fit my laptop, was too bulky, heavy, awkward to move around and/or did not have the fans located in the right position to help keep things cool- which was my main goal to achieve. This product actually fits the laptop but is not heavy or bulky. The little fold up tabs to help keep your laptop in place is perfectly positioned to do its job while not getting in your way when typing. It is also easy to move with your laptop so I can go from the bedroom, living room, office, patio with ease. I loved it so much I bought my mother one for her laptop. I am considering a third for my work laptop. Finally a cooling pad that actually works!

Great device for using your laptop

This is a great way to keep your laptop cool. It is every bit what is claimed.
My laptop stays cool, and so do I. The several choices of tilt, makes it comfortable on the sofa and in my bed.
I love this!
If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to add a mechanism to secure the laptop to the Pwr+, so picking it up is less awkward. The two folding clips, at the bottom edge, do the job nicely to keep the laptop from sliding. Just getting up, or picking up the unit with the laptop on it, can get a little "fumbley".
So glad I bought one.

It looks good, the top is aluminum so it should be durable. It perfectly fits my MacBook Pro 13", the fans are strong, they are a bit noisy but I don't mind, as long as they keep my laptop cool. It also holds my MacBook really steady so I really love this. Huge recommendation for Macbook 13" owners, for 15", I guess it works too

This Operates very well I would recommend to anyone, I've had it about a month or so now and it stopped my laptop from burning my legs to keeping it cool as the laptop fans are garbage as I have a HP pavillion and they are known for over heating. This 17 inch pad fits my laptop which is 15.5 inches perfectly with no room to spare on either side so if you have a bigger laptop it probably won't fit. The fans actually end up cooling the aluminum on the top which helps with the cooling so its not just the fans doing the work like if you bought a plastic one. The fans are also very quite they wont be bugging you at all. You do have to watch out for long hair getting caught in the fans though as they will stop spinning but its an easy fix just take the 6 screws off the top and you can clean it easily which is another plus. The one thing I do not like which is due to my own fault is if you pick it up wrong and the bar to keep it up right is in the right spot you may pinch yourself.
