Great customer service

The original battery I purchased from Anker was defective because after a few months it couldnt hold a charge. I thought too much time had passed so I chalked it up as a loss but then Anker's customer service rep found me and explained to me that it was their policy to replace the problematic battery. Anker's customer service is excellent and there reps go out of the way to make things right. They immediately sent me a new battery and this one is MUCH better. All I had to do is send them back the old battery (after I received the new one). I was super happy with the experience and I will definitely shop with them again.

Just What I Needed

I ordered this battery replacement for my Acer 5742Z-4601 and I couldn't be happier with the results. The battery came packaged very well, with fitted foam surrounding the battery in a hard cardboard case. This was then shipped inside another Amazon box, surrounded by air-pak material. The battery fit perfectly, charged in four hours and I have been getting 3-4 hours of usage on each charge. I could have purchased one of the 'cheapies', but chose Anker after reading the reviews and their 18 month warranty. Since I'm am rather technically challenged, I appreciate the ease of the replacement and the quality of the product.

Great performance and value!

I ordered the Anker battery for my Acer laptop. As others have stated, it is important to follow the guidelines (included w/ battery) for the first 2-3 charge cycles to get the maximum performance and life from battery. I'm so glad I spent a little more on this new battery instead of an after-market, and the Anker was still a much better deal than any other new batteries I looked at (online and in store). Also, at 18 months, the warranty is a year or 6 months longer than other, much more expensive batteries. Arrived quickly, and packed well- inside shipping box was a sturdy battery box with high-quality, custom-fit padding and sealed battery. The battery box is actually sturdier and padded better than the manufacturer's box my laptop came in! Highly recommend both the product and seller.

Worth Every Penny

I will start by giving props to FedEx for delivering my battery a day before they were originally scheduled to by out. That was greatly appreciated on their part.

The battery was perfect for my laptop. It fit like a glove, was already fully charged, and had a very long life. I got about 4 hours of intense use before I had to connect the power to recharge the pack. The battery was in fantastic shape in it's packaging, no scratches, no signs of wear. I would highly recommend this purchase, you will not be dissatisfied.
