6. If you see a bubble,gently peel back the screen and use the lint free cloth or adhesive tape to pick it up

Good if you already know how to install screen protectors

Seller should probably mention that the package and installation instructions contain no English beyond the corporate address and the product name. If you read Chinese, you'll love it. If you've installed one of these things before, you know what's involved and you'll manage fine. If not, it might be a challenge. It was easy to trim down to fit my screen AFTER installation: gently peel an edge back and trim with a nice sharp pair of scissors. It was easy to burnish the bubbles back out. MAKE SURE THE SCREEN IS FREE OF LINT AND OILS (use the enclosed cleaning cloth).

I should have gotten this three years ago--makes a huge difference in cutting glare, with no effects on color or details. Take it slow on installation, may have to peel back up a bit as you go (several times, but it is worth the attention). I have only a couple of very small bubbles and they do not interfere with the image (I do a lot of intensive photo work). Can now use my laptop in the car.
Only negative is that they do not have instructions, and the diagrams are too small to read. The skin has two peel-off layers, one on each side, if it is installed and still shiny you need to remove the top layer.

This was one of the easiest screen protectors to install (my wife installed it on her computer). Great step-by-step instructions. Some advice for newbies - go very slow when first attaching it from beginning to end. Also, I found that following the protector down the middle of the screen with the scraping card helped prevent any bubbles whatsoever (rather than moving the scraping card side to side).

Good Screen Protector!

Decent screen protector, I bought mine from ebay, but then I found out that amazon has it too. I followed steps and barely got a few dots, but they are near the edges of the screen and far from the center of the screen which does not affect me much. So overall it is not bad, it meets all my needs, with a new ssd installed, my old XPS 17 is back to life again! :)

however I had a UHD 4k screen and it was horribly blurred. I would put visibility to about 85%

There were no instructions in English. The image was to maintain a 97% transparency, however I had a UHD 4k screen and it was horribly blurred. I would put visibility to about 85%. It is not a question about light passing through. It is a question of clarity. I ripped it off my laptop screen in less than 30 minutes since it looked like I had cataracts. Matte finish may be okay for 1920x1080, but definitely not for higher resolutions.

Works great with 15 inch Macbook Pro

This really helped cut down the glare on my 2011 15" Macbook Pro (non-retina). It blurs up the screen a little bit but after a couple of days I was used to it. The plus is that my eyestrain has gone down significantly.

I had to trim 0.5" from one side but otherwise it fit great.
