Excellent computer!

Wonderful machine! I bought this from Holidays Fun, where Bruce was extremely helpful in getting this to me on time and in perfect condition. Mine came with the newer Yosemite even though the description says Mavericks.

As a long-time Linux user and professional software developer, I have to say I'm very happy I made the switch. No more messing around with the system all the time, this just works and it's beautiful to boot. It works very well as a primary personal machine, and if you really need the extra screen space, I just attach it to a big monitor when I'm at my desk.

I know many reviews of this computer complain about the lack of Retina screen and the minimal 4GB memory included. The truth is though, the machine runs quickly enough for anything you're likely to do on this computer, and the screen is actually quite beautiful. I'm personally happy to have the extra battery life rather than a Retina display on what is meant to be an ultra portable computer.

MacBook Air, I'm sold!!

I have been using Windows since the early 90's. After Windows 8 I was in need of a new machine and decided to give Mac a try. I have been using an iPhone and Apple TV for a couple of years so it made sense to use a Mac and complete the package. I purchased mine from Apple because I needed larger storage than what they have available on Amazon. I have an I7 processor, 512GB HDD & 8GB RAM. The machine is absolutely fantastic. I do not have a single complaint. I have read other reviews where people had complained that the screen resolution was not that great. Don't believe them, now it is not a retina display but it is beautiful. I mean the quality is top notch.

This is a fantastic computer and you won't be disappointed if you get one.

This is my first Mac. I have an iPad and iPhone but have never had a laptop. I absolutely love it. The machine is well built, light weight and the keyboard is solid and backlit. It was easy to set up and I especially love the iPhoto application and how easy it is to create slide shows and upload to a movie. I know these laptops are more expensive but I am happy I made the purchase.

I received the Mac Air. It is new and in good condition but it was three levels of updates behind. It took 24 hours to load all the OS updates. If I had purchased this from the Apple Store for roughly the same price, it would be ready to power up out of the box.
