waste of time

no instructions, no battery is detected warning even after plugged in for 2 days. Windows 7 installed backup disc is windows 8.1. , contacted ASUS support to see if battery problem was a simple fix ... resulted in ASUS will fix .... I'm sending it back to Amazon as defective .... waste of time!!!
