It burned up my laptop.

I received this replacement batter very quickly. I replaced my old batter and with in 30 sec. my lap top began to smoke I quickly unplugged the cord, but too late the lap top turned off. Amazon was sorry and refunded me quickly and gave me a gift card . They also gave me advice to contact the manufacture . I'm waiting to hear back from them, also waiting to find out how much it will cost to repair my lap top. The one thing I noticed ( too late ) was the volts, and amps were higher than the original battery. be careful when ordering . This is the exact model of my lap top but not the quality .

After two months of good use, My laptop no longer detects or charges it. Before now it was working just fine. Guess its about time for a new laptop anyways.

Update: Got bored and tore this battery apart. The connecting port got pushed back just enough to not make connection with the laptop. glued a piece of cardboard behind it and its working again. Would not recommend as a solution unless you're a tinkerer and aren't concerned with personal safety. I cut the heck outta my hand on the plastic tearing it apart.

Perfect Replacement

This items was the perfect find for my laptop. The previous battery in my laptop was dead; I had to keep my laptop plugged into the adapter to maintain use. One minute after the adapter was unplugged, the power to my laptop was cut off. When I found this replacement battery, not only did it arrive in less than 4 days, but it provided 3 to 4 hours of charge to my laptop without being connected to the adapter. My battery has been dead for about a year now. My computer needed to be plugged in to function. It was great to pop this battery in and be able to unplug my computer and see it actually work. It showed 75% without any charging, it must be pre-charged a bit. The computer shows 2 1/2 hours time available with the 75% charge. This is fantastic considering it was 0 hours before. Good buy.

This battery fits my Asus perfectly. When I looked at it, I was afraid it was too small. But that is just the way the computer looks, like it should be a larger battery. I am about to go about 4-5 hours unplugged with this battery. The price was very reasonable as well. And the seller was quick to send this to me. The original battery lasted my daughter almost 3 years. The replacement I expect to do the same. Time will tell so its difficult to review something that is meant to last early on in the life of the product. It charges easily and the charge lasts her through about three and one half hours of homework (and video watching).
