Gets SUPER HOT! Dangerous!

I have ordered this charger twice -- I know, fool me twice, shame on me, I was trying to save money but it's NOT WORTH IT! The first time the charger pack itself would get so hot we made sure it was on a non-flammable surface at all times and wasn't plugged in without supervision. You literally couldn't hold it in your hand for more than a second.

The second one I ordered, the little adapter itself that plugs into the laptop got so hot you couldn't touch it, and it was ruining my port -- charging power was intermittent. We took it to Radioshack and the lady said she has seen them catch fire! We spent a little more money on a better brand, and all parts are cool to the touch and no more problems! For your safety, don't buy this charger just to save money. I learned my lesson.

Not sure if they sent me the wrong cord or what. The one that was sent to me doesn't look anything like the one in the picture. Plugged it in to my computer and it never showed that it was even plugged in, didn't even charge the battery which was also brand new. Unplugged this cord and put one of my old ones in and bingo, cord showed to be plugged in and it also charged the new battery. Like I said not sure what happened with this cord but it didn't work for me and was useless. Would I recommend it? No.

This adapter is a piece of crap! Since the day it arrived, I have to wiggle it around just right and (if it stays in place) it will charge your battery. Not worth my time, DO NOT BUY!!! Did I mention this thing is junk! What a ripoff!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really happy with this product. I got it when it was on a really good sale and I also was using my free prime trial. This made it less than $10. It does look slightly different from my original charger, so when I opened the box and saw it, I was a little worried. However, I tried it out today and it fits my laptop and works great.

On the long term review I'm not aware yet, but I'm sure it will work well for awhile.

Ruined my laptop!!!!!

Do not purchase this cheap piece of crap!! I plugged this thing into my laptop and it immediately sparked,and made my laptop inoperable. I took it to a repair shop and found out that the motherboard was "blown" because of a power surge! After repeated e-mails back and forth with the seller, I felt like I was basically written off by them. Thankfully, Amazon stepped in and replaced my computer.
