Overheated my laptop and it may be ruined

The fan itself is 1" smaller across than other fans I have had and the airflow is noticeably weaker. I used it for more than an hour and my laptop froze up and I then noticed it was very hot. Laptop is not working anymore and I hope my husband can bring it back to life. The blue lights were fun but not worth a ruined laptop they need to put that money into a better fan.

As a pad I is great as cooling pad it leaves much to be desired

My laptop gets very hot during 1 game I play. While that was not the main reason I got this I expected the fan to push a lot more air than it does. With it on I can barely feel any air movement and it is running fairly fast. As a pad I is great as cooling pad it leaves much to be desired.
