Fashionable and durable.

There are three things that I look for when purchasing a backpack 1) Comfort 2) Capacity 3) Durability.

1)The backpack is comfortable for light use. I placed my 15" mac book, textbook, basic school supplies, and water bottle inside the bag and it felt fine. There was no one location on the backpack that I felt put excessive pressure or discomfort on my back. However, this is not a backpack that will hold all of my engineering course textbooks comfortably. When I placed several of my larger textbooks in the bag the pressure put directly on my shoulders was very uncomfortable.

2)When considering the capacity of a backpack you need to remember that you shouldn't carry a backpack that weighs more that 10%-20% of your total body weight. When I put in all of the textbooks I would need for a big study session the weight was far past recommendations and caused the backpack to look misshapen. However, for daily use to and from school the backpack held up well and I had extra space for snacks and a light rain jacket. The side pockets are nice and roomy but I wish that they had some sort of mesh to prevent items from falling out when opened. The water bottle holders (there are two) hold an oversized bottle of water nicely and appear to keep their shape.

3) The durability of this backpack worried me at first because this pack seems to be more about fashion than function. After using it for several days I can tell that this pack is very durable. The zippers are good quality metal, the lining of the backpack is sturdy and easy to wipe down, handles and straps are thick with padding, and the back of the bag is padded too. Perfect for a college student!

This backpack is perfect for someone who really likes to organize their stuff. Zippers seem very sturdy and are easy to grip. I love that it opens at the top, so I don't have to worry about things falling out if I forget to zip it up. The laptop pocket is roomy enough for my Thinkpad Yoga, and the air bladder rests right under it to protect it from drops. The smaller pockets on the top-side of the backpack are perfect for my chargers and my cellphone to fit right in. The main compartment is definitely big and deep enough for my college textbooks, plus a bento box and whatever else I need.

Perfect for what I need it

Perfect for what I need it. Most of the bags I was finding were either too small and too expensive for what they were, or too large and. . . well, quite frankly, not so appealing to the eye.

This backpack is great, it fits my laptop, plus cables, mouse, adapters, books, and everything I take to school on the daily with enough bags to organize it all and never having the curse of "the tangled cables all in the same bag."

The color is nice, material is great, slightly "puffy" to provide protection for my laptop. (Just don't go throwing it around on the floor or anything :v)
What makes me glad is that it's also cushioned on the straps and back so it's not so uncomfortable on the shoulders. Most of us know the pain of having to carry a laptop plus books so, it was definitely a surprise to not feel the weight as much.

For the price, I am very very very happy with this purchase.

Front flap idea needs improvement

You can't put much in the or under front flap or else the flap will detach from its magnetic and button-like attachment?.... and you need organizers to make use of the main compartment outside of the laptop compartment... I love the accessibility of pockets and sides.
My bottle fell off during a fast bike ride . -_-

I received the backpack within 2 days, as promised. The backpack is made of good material and seems very sturdy with lots of space and compartments. It looked like the picture, but it was heavy without anything inside. Only thing I did not like is it is very very square and it sits up on your waist, some what by your neck.

Roomy, durable, and BEAUTIFUL

I absolutely love this bag. It's functionality is perfect, and the color (I ordered the brown) is even more beautiful in person. I personally feel that it is a bit too masculine for me to wear casually, but I love it nonetheless. I was agonizing over this until it came in the mail (which it did in a timely fashion), but I fell in love with it once I saw it. I still feel that it wouldn't suit me, so I've decided to hold onto it and gift it to one of my brothers. It feels very very durable, and it has plenty of room for your things, and more compartments on top of it all. It is perfect for traveling/hiking, and possibly (definitely strong enough) even for school.

So far I like my purchase. Bag is not bulky. I feel that by computer is protected. The material and zippers are good quality, doesnt feel cheap.I was looking for a travel or everyday bag that wasn't too big and bulky and if needed I could fit a few items when I travel for a short weekend. Love my purchase. Only reason not giving it a 5 start is the color is not as it shows online. Actual color is more of deep burgundy not bright red
