Cheap price = cheap product?

From the moment I opened the package, I could tell that I got what I paid for - cheap price = cheap product. It felt lightweight and did not look as solid when compared to the original adapter.
I connected it to the laptop and was glad to see that the laptop powered on, but the touchpad goes berzerk when this adapter is in use. I haven't tried it with a usb mouse but I would prefer to use the touchpad.
Once I reconnect the old original adapter, the touchpad is back to normal. Now I haven't done a thorough test as yet to make sure everything else works, but for now, I would not recommend this product.
