bigger but lasts longer

There is an "extra" section of the battery that makes it bigger than the OEM. This was not revealed in the photo,nor in the description. While it lasts longer, it is tighter to get in to the travel bag. On the up -side, it raises the keyboard angle and allows airflow under the laptop. Unless you travel a lot with this computer, this is probably going to be an overall benefit.

I purchased this battery last week. When it came, I wanted to know just how long it would hold a full charge so I timed it right after I installed it. I did a few emails, then let the laptop sit, disconnected from the charger. The battery works, yes, but supplied power to my Toshiba Satelite for only an hour 45 minutes. I had been expecting it to last 3 hours. Very disappointing.

As the other reviews stated they did not notice much of and increase in battery life, neither did I. I do like the way it lifts the unit making it more ergonomical. Over all this is an average replacement for a good price. Hence the 3 stars. Been using it a most a year with no issues. I get about 1.5 hours on a full charge if I am using it constantly.
