Needed 2 for stability

I am using the Mobotron universal computer mount in my car and already had one brace installed. I was still noticing some wobble so I ordered a second brace to stop the wobble and eliminate extra play.

The tube is very sturdy and the top attachment hold snugly. The foot end of the brace is plastic on metal and is adjustable. This area seems weak to me as I am noticing some bending when I try to make it tight. This leads to the second issue; the brace is adjustable (length) and it does not hold for me. It uses a twist lock between the tubes and it is initially tight but does seem to work loose over time.

I would like to see a different type of tube length lock and less plastic on metal attachments.

Supports The Mobotron MS-426 Laptop Stand

Provides adequate support for the Mobotron MS-426 laptop car mount with slight modification.
For the above average DIY'er, this can be installed in a matter of minutes with a bit of ingenuity and skill.
Everyone's application will be significantly different, but this bracket does provide exceptional support and the quality is excellent.
For my application, it was a cinch, and was easy to engineer into the place where it was needed and most effective.
During the install on my 2014 Subaru Forester XT, I did notice the clamp on the Bracketron is a tad too big.
The use of electrical, double sided tape or Velcro could very well close the gap between the two, or your pole might fit perfectly.
Also, the triangular bracket and tightening knob was removed and replaced with a 26mm hex head cap screw bolt.
The angle and width of the bracket did not place itself in a position where it could be properly installed. Also, I wanted to achieve a drill-less install.
But after these slight modifications, with a twist of the tightening collar to extend or shorten the brace, it fit into place perfectly.
Installed for over a year now, the bracket is holding up quite well showing no signs of failing in anyplace. No rust, corrosion, fading, stripping, buckling or peeling.

Much needed accessory for Mobotron Laptop Mount

This support brace adds a much needed stability to my Mobotron mount. In fact, I've added 2 of these braces to my mount, making it into a tripod mount instead. Extremely sturdy and stable. Very easy to adjust the angles and length with a twist of the wrist.
