Quality little light!

My laptop's keyboard isn't backlit and we live in a camper where the best light is not always available. I needed free shipping on another item I was ordering so I added this USB lamp on a whim. It got here yesterday and I am impressed! For not doing my research on USB lights and just going with my gut on this purchase, the quality is high and the usability is perfect. I was worried about some of the USB lamp heads being too heavy for their flimsy necks, so I'm happy to say that the metal construction of the neck on this lamp is quality and holds the lamp up securely so its not flopping down in your way while typing. I give 4 stars since I would like it if the lamp had an additional less bright setting.

Poor quality. First of 2 lights in this unit started flickering in less than 30 days. Entire unit stopped working in less than 2 months. The quality issue seems to be prevalent in many of these types of USB lights. The prices for all the ones I've seen seem to be too low to support well made products. I would gladly pay a lot more money for something that worked consistently and over a long time. LED lights should last for years.

cheap USB light but for the price what do you expect

Bought 3 of these. They arrived with the USB connections bent downward. also the heads get pretty hot for LED's. The metal snake doesn't move or stay in a lot of the positions I put them in. Loved the easy one button touch. Wished it had more brightness settings. Has 2 LED's on it so it gets pretty bright. Does it's job but wish it was a little nicer.

Dim lighting

I would not buy this again. The light is very dim and I still have to strain to see the keys. It's much shorter than the previous light I had so it doesn't stretch over the keyboard enough. I am looking to buy another to replace this one.
