Perfect for Intel NUC Power Brick

The Cables To Go "Mickey Mouse" power cord works perfect as the power cord side of an Intel NUC power brick. This is a US style prong configuration and the cable is thick and seems to be of decent quality. The cable is a solid black color and came in a C2G zip-lock style of bag with part number #27400 on it. (UPC 7-57120-27400-1)

The package indicates that the cable is made in China, but lists a North America and EMEA phone number.

PS. The Intel NUC is shipped with a power brick, but does not include the side of the cable which plugs into the wall. This cable serves that purpose.

It's a cord

It's a power cord ... not a whole lot you can say about it.

Quality is pretty much average, hence the 3 star rating. It's not the best cable in the world, but it works and is standing up to normal use.

This cord has what is called a C5 connector which some laptop manufacturers use for their power supply bricks. I wish they all used the C13 that normal computers use (and almost everything else electronic) but oh well.

The C5 plug is a little loose in the C6 socket on my power supply, but not too loose that a slight movement pops it out.

The price was right though for what you get.

Perfect for transmitting electrons from an outlet to a computer power supply

If you want to give something power, like a laptop or a charger that uses a laptop power cable, then this is the ticket for you!

This product has many great features.

First, it has a standard "Edison" connector to connect the source of power. It comes with all three metal things needed to actually conduct electrons at the source: a "hot" blade, a "neutral" blade, and an "earth" pin. You get all three for one low price. The manufacturer didn't cheap out and give you just one or two like some of those other makers.

Next you get an insulated cable of sufficient length with a nice rubber jacketing. The rubber jacketing is easy to clean, perfect for when you spill refried beans, fajita juice, or cat feces on the cable. Note, however, that the cable is not intended as a chew toy for your cat.*

Finally the cable is terminated with a standard three-hole laptop styled female connector. This is the end you connect to the computer power supply or other device that uses a laptop power supply. If you asked me, this three hole design looks a bit like the logo or symbol for a secretive society that controls populations and governments and/or engages in cult-like erotic ceremonies.

You should buy this device even if you don't presently need one. Because, you know, you might need one later.
