UPDATE: I use my laptop for hours, daily, and this battery still hold a good charge, after a year of use.

Alright, so maybe my cat doesn't hold the same charge (static) but comes pretty darn close.

Not worth the money (and I'm wondering if I received a defective battery). I charged this thing out of the box and then ran it down to 0% to start anew. After it was 100% from charging I began to use my laptop and within 1 hour and 15 minutes the battery was back down to 0% and I had to plug back into the adapter. I'm no computer engineer but assumed that a brand new battery would hold a charge longer than just over an hour. I didn't even have music or video playing during that time - I was simply in a word document writing a report. Silly me. I'll be contacting the company for a replacement or refund and will update this review depending on the outcome.

Slow start, product excellent UPDATE change rating

There was a delay in delivery/order for which they apologized. The product has been excellent, not a beat less than the OEM battery that came with the laptop. And the price was as good as it gets. Very satisfied after the rocky start.

UPDATE: After six months, the battery will only hold a charge, when sleeping, for about four hours. If actually using the computer it is only good for two hours. I have tried full discharge and recharge, but that did not help.

Great Replacement Battery!!

A year later, it's still working...

This replacement battery has resurrected a laptop that would not even power on when connected to AC power. Apparently, the bad battery was loading the AC power adapter that too little power was getting to the laptop. A year has passed now and the new battery is still going strong whether supplying power to the laptop alone or with AC power connected.

I have a HP G72 17 inch laptop that I love. My battery died in less than 6 months, and because they're SO EXPENSIVE, I put off buying one. I purchased this one, and it has been nice to have a battery again, but it doesn't last. I just unplugged computer after a night of charging, and it lasted all of 20 minutes. Great price/bad battery.

Why did I wait so long!
