Good Bag, Built Cheaply

This really is a good bag. I absolutely love the design and look. I wanted something I could carry around campus and look professional, but also be able to lug it with me around airports. It does have a professional look to it, which I love.

I bought the bag in order to replace my old laptop backpack that had seen it's use over many years, and I had been very happy with. I bring my laptops or tablets with me almost everywhere I go so I needed something that will hold up well. The bag does seem to protect my lighter devices fairly well. I've purposely dropped them in the bag to see if any damage had been done, and I saw none.

However, I don't know if I would trust my full size laptop in this bag. The materials used such as the cushion and the fabric just feel too cheap to protect my full sized laptop from any direct fall. I still love the look and the pocket design inside, and will use it to carry my 2-in-1 or tablets, but I doubt a full sized laptop.

Overall, for light use with a lighter laptop, this bag will work great. However, if you're looking for this to be your full time bag, I might look elsewhere.

Nice while it lasts

Liked it at first, and liked it until the strap broke where it is sewed onto the carrying clip. Macbook and Ipad, crash to the ground. This is within 1 month of use. Notice as the insignia logo look crooked in the photo. It is crooked on the back as well. It going back. Macbook and ipad had there own cases, so they survived.

Gives you a business person image!!

I scout the market for the perfect professional work bag to replace my old bag, and I must say I'm very pleased with this bag. It looks really nice and professional at conference meetings, the inside has ample storage and pockets. My laptop and iPad fit's perfectly. It's very elegant, I also love the compliment's I'm getting.

A Lightweight Option to Bag with Lots of Room!

While this briefcase is marketed toward men, it is totally acceptable for women as well. This laptop/tablet messenger bag is very roomy and will hold all of your essentials as you make your way to the office and back home again.

The carrying handles make for a comfortable grip and have a strip of velcro to hold them together to make carrying easier. The case also comes with a shoulder strap if you prefer to carry the bag on your shoulder. I like the fact that you can choose the method of carry and can alternate when you want. The outside of the bag has a zippered compartment on both sides, with one of the compartments having a second zippered compartment on it. This is a nice feature for tucking in small items.

Now for the essentials and inside the bag! There are two main compartments divided by a padded sleeve which has a velco strap that holds the section secure. This is where you would place your laptop or sleeve. My 15" laptop fits in just fine. I like the fact that I can use this bag for my tablet as well. There is also a sleeve type pocket inside for tucking in other items such as a small tablet, file folders, etc.

I have been enjoying this bag so much. It's very lightweight and doesn't add a pound or more to your load. It seems to be made well and very durable. If there was one thing to change I would suggest a little more padding around the section for computer. Overall, this is a pretty good deal and a good bag to have. I love the fact that it doesn't weigh me down!

Nice lightweight laptop bag with multiple roomy pockets

I actually ordered this laptop bag for my husband, who needs a new one for work. It came while he was away on a business trip, so I tested it out for my own laptop when I had to spend an afternoon at the hospital. I quite like this bag. It has a lot of room with numerous pockets. It seems well made, with quality zippers and thick material. The only thing neither of us liked is that there really is not much padding for the laptop, just one thin pad, whereas in our other bags there are two pads that the laptop fits between to protect it from both sides. In a bag specifically made for a laptop, I thought it would have more padding, so we are thinking putting it in a padded sleeve and then inside this bag would be better shock protection. I would easily give this 5 stars if it had better padding, because I love how roomy it is and how many different storage pockets it has. It came with an optional shoulder strap. It is a bit smaller than my husband's other bags, which he didn't like, but I very much do because it is easier for me to carry. The material seems good quality and thickness without the heaviness that his other bags have, which again is something I very much like. I ordered this laptop bag at a promotional price for the purpose of product testing and feedback in the form of an honest review, and I am pleased with this purchase.

Spacious and comfy, great way to lug around your laptop

You know how it can be when you see dimensions in print and think you know how big something will be in real life? I think my mental ruler is off, because I was -not- prepared for how spacious this rugged messenger bag is. There are pockets and pockets and more pockets, and every time I think I've found all the pockets, I find another.

Inside pockets are thoughtfully divided and padded from the space for a laptop or tablet (or both!). All outside pockets are easily accessible with smooth-running zippers that don't hesitate around corners and down sides.

There's not a stray thread in sight. The workmanship is stellar.

The detachable shoulder strap adjusts through a wide range of lengths, so you're sure to find a setting that's just right. When not in use, the strap removes and stores easily in any of the pockets. The quick access pocket on the side is a fast way to reach keys and cell phone, and you can reach the contents of the pocket right behind it as well, through the quick access pocket's bottom.

Bottom Line: Great way to lug around a tablet and everything you could possibly need. A definite five-star item.
