This numeric keypad has far exceeded my expectations

There are few things more impractical and annoying than entering a lot of numbers through a standard, laptop keyboard that lacks a true, numeric keypad. I didn't expect to ever find something as GREAT as a USB keypad like this, because I didn't even know they existed. I'm extremely impressed with this device. The software is self-loading when you plug it into your USB port. It may have to register to each individual port, so if you plan to change ports, you might as well set it up on all of them the first time you use it. You do this by simply plugging it into each USB port and letting it do its thing, which it did quickly on my Yoga 3 laptop.

What I like about the ORICO Mini 23 Key Numeric Keypad is the following:

1. A perfect size. It's not all that "mini." It's a good size, easy to see, easy to handle.
2. A perfect length cord. Long enough, but not too long. I keep part of it tied up usually.
3. The key travel distance is perfect. A very nice feel pressing the keys.
4. A great color. It appears black in photos, but is more of a slightly metallic hunter green.
5. Built solidly. There's nothing flimsy about this device and it sits flat on its four rubber feet.
6. Low profile. It has a nice, low profile, so it's easy to store nearby without getting in the way.
7. Additional buttons. It has pre-programmed homepage, email, and calculator buttons that work perfectly.
8. It has a 000 button for quickly entering thousands, millions, etc.

I don't think there's anything I would add or take aware from it. It's a darned near perfect numeric keypad as far as I'm concerned.

The ORICO Keypad is great for more then just a keypad. It has a few other functions as well such as opening up your email, page up and down, tab and it will even open up your home page. This was very easy to use. All I did was open the box and plug it in to my laptop. From there I pushed the calculator key and it opened the calculator right up. I soon realized I needed to press down the NUM LOCK key for the number keys to work. Once I did it was working like a charm. All of the buttons work great. It was so much easier keying from the pad that it is from my laptop. Its made to last and very comfortable to use. Watch my video to see it in action. This is a must have for laptops or smaller keyboards. I use my keypad for so many tasks, and this is a good, solid one. The keys have the same throw as my laptop keyboard, which is nice in terms of no transition in key feel. The casing is attractive, and well built.
