I purchased this for my son's 15" Macbook Pro that he rceived for Christmas and I nust tell you this was a big hit even compared to the Macbook Pro. One of the nicest features is that you can put an iPad right in the case with the Macbook and they travel well together. Plus the outside zippered compartment is perfect for his 75W charger.

ample storage, good design

Ample storage. I can fit my 15" macbook pro retina, Ipad, Iphone, all cords and a few files. Easy to organize and access all contents. I hate the inside. Interior is composed of thin grey waterproof material. Not very smooth for pulling electronics in and out. It is slightly noisy if you're in a quiet room. I ended up getting a caselogic sleeve for my macbook pro, which slips into this laptop case. Reduces friction and provides a little more padding. A lot of users complained about the padding. The padding is adequate for me because I'm moderately careful with electronics. If you're clumsy, forfeit the slim design of this case and go with a more heavily padded case. Overall, I'm very happy. I love the organizational design and accessibility of contents. I'll definitely use this as my main laptop case.

It's All You Really Need

I've had larger cases than this one, but after seeing the quality of it in some store, I ordered it from Amazon. I've been VERY pleased. It holds my MacBook Pro snugly and my MacBook Air comfortably even when it's wearing its padded sleeve. Some of the inside pockets might be a little small for whatever hand-held calculator you have, but no big deal. The capacity of this case is just right for 95% of your every day use. I realized that when I had larger cases, I had stuff in them that I really didn't need to carry around. This case will impose some discipline on you, so you don't become a hoarder.

Fits my new Toshiba Satellite 15.6 very well. Material seems low-end and stitching could be a little better. Maybe the material was selected because it is so light weight. It is the lightest laptop bag I have owned that has good capacity.

Slim case, but ..

I have two Case Logic sleeves for my old MacBook Pro 13 and one my iPad. I bought this case hoping for protection for my new MacBook Pro 15 Retina and the iPad. However, the padding was very light and the inside of the case was lined with a rough nylon fabric. You would NEED to place your laptop in a protective sleeve BEFORE you put it inside this case, to give the laptop cushion protection and scratch protection. The rMBP 15 was very lose inside. Do not recommend for that laptop.

No quality control

I ordered 3 different cases from this brand, and this reference came with scratches and the zippers hanging were thing really dirty and scratched. This might be a good product but while storing and packing lacks of quality control, the customers are not going to be pleased when the product is received.
