I haul books, a laptop, a grade book, a pen case, lessons, and student papers up and down a hill 3 to 4 times a day and so far the Case Logic is doing "A" work! I especially like the extra-sturdy handle and the pockets in the outside zipper section.

The best laptop briefcase for the money

LAPTOP BRIEFCASE BY CASE LOGIC, 15.6" is the perfect case for the job. My Dell 15.6" fits snugly in this, it has as far as I can tell relatively quality zippers (and zippers really are the main feature), the material is tough and the padding is satisfactory. This includes a nicely padded shoulder strap if you need it, and the single handle is well built and also padded. (I really hate cases in this style that have two cheap nylon webbing handles.)

Everyone else has reviewed this saying it is also great to have the exterior pocket and I agree! That is fantastic and it has inside some inner pockets designed to hold i-phones and the like. These will be handy for me to keep my "thumb drives", little notes, even business cards which I still use. Officially, that large outer pocket is for your recharge cord, which my wife had to point out to me. There is also a very slender inner pocket for papers or files.

This is a great case and take it from an aficionado who has collected and owned all manner of cases since the 1960s! Don't waste time or money on another similar model or on some $60 rip-off that will be just like this. All I will add is you need a hard-side attaché case if your commute is rough.

Ordered this inexpensive laptop bag for bringing the work laptop home on occasional telecommuting days. Works as advertised - strap is a little thin but sturdy enough, and the briefcase handle is actually nice and cushy. Also, it has a nice exterior pocket for a notepad. Seems to be holding up well, although I don't use it often. Don't know if it would be ideal for daily use (I'd want more room for other stuff, and little pockets for pens and things), but great for what I need it for.
