I carry my laptop around everywhere, and have never really done a very great job of protecting it and keeping it safe.
This may sound like exaggeration, but I assure you, it is not. This is truly the best back pack I have ever owned. The extra padding helps keep my electronics safe, as I am not always careful about how I lay it down. It has enough pockets and compartments to allow me to keep business items and personal items separate while traveling. The back straps have really nice padding that help keep the fatigue down while commuting into the city, plus somehow help keep that area around the shoulders cool – LOVE THIS. The construction of the bag’s feel seems to be high quality. The zippers are heavy duty, yet very easy to open and close. It’s also very nice looking – it’s sharp, something I could carry off into the woods, bring into a business meeting, or take with me to Starbuck’s. All in all, I would recommend this bag to anyone who needs a nice back pack to carry laptops on a daily basis.

6 Months of Daily Usage - This Backpack is a Winner!

I bought this backpack as a replacement for a 4-year old ful backpack. It was a hard decision to replace it since the only thing that was wrong was the oldness and small tears. I spent weeks looking at different backpacks and wanted one that was durable, large enough to carry a lot when travelling but too large, and one that was very flexible. This backpack is different from the ful backpack, but I'm not looking back. I've been using this backpack for over 6 months (pretty much everyday) and this is my honest review:

The standout feature of this backpack is that it has A LOT of compartments. It makes it very easy to store lots of different things in an organized way. I'm a student and I need to carry a laptop, tablet, folder, books, writing utensils, chargers, calculator, keys, wallet, umbrella ( rainy where I live ), among other things. Since I'm on campus for pretty much all of the time I am awake, I need a lot of things with me. This thing can handle it all! I once lost an umbrella inside of this thing! I searched and searched for it but couldn't find it. I found it a few days later in the third compartment of the backpack. The hidden zipper on the part that goes along your back realy is a nice addition as well - perfect to store things like your wallet and passport. Its also easily accessible with your backpack on so you don't need to take it off to get access to the things in that pocket.

The laptop compartment is will fit even slightly bulkier 15 inch laptops and I feel safe putting my tablet in the padded sleeve in the main compartment, even with other things inside of it. The side pockets is nice - I keep a large water bottle in one and put things like cables and headphones in the other.

Very Nice! Lots of Space and Pockets

Love this bag! I am always a little nervous about taking my laptop out and about, but I really felt it was safe and secure as it could be in the compartment for it in this backpack. I've had other Case Logic bags and they are very sturdy and well made. I especially like this one because of the well padded lap top compartment and all the other handy pockets. I like to keep stuff all in the same place so I can find it easily and that is easy to do with this. The only thing is I would prefer another color, but that is minor, it is a great case for storing everything for a day out and nicely light weight too. All my junk weighs enough without the bag I put it in adding to it if it doesn't need to. Highly recommend.

This backpack is strong and offers a decent (but shy of super) amount of padding to protect your electronics. Note, however, that it is not quite as big as it appears in the photos -- you can fit a change of clothes in there, but not if you're going to a formal wedding.

The black style with red trim looks great, especially if you like zippers. Welcome to Zipper City! It reminds me of a pair of pants I had in 1983. There are ten of those bad boys, and that's just on the outside -- a couple more are hiding on inside pockets. So if you have a lot of small items, this could be the bag for you.

I have several backpacks. Some for commuting and some for actually hiking. This is a really good commuting backpack. It has lots of handy pockets, a protective notebook pocket, padded arm straps and it looks really nice. The black material looks nice on your shoulder as you walk around the subway.

This backpack appears to be very well made, and has lots of nice storage pockets for electronics and other items. The zippers function well and have easy to use pulls, etc. I may be "luggage deprived", but I never had a backpack before. I was probably waiting for a quality item like this and will be very happy to put it to good use.

Love this backpack!

Good quality. Lots of compartments. Well-designed. I can't imagine how I lived without it.

* Padded compartment for laptop.
* Main compartment for books and such, with a slim space behind a divider.
* Smaller compartment with places for pens, etc., plus a zippered pocket. (I keep my power supply in it.)
* Small pocket with soft fabric liner, for phones and such. (I use it for USB flash drives.)
* Half compartment in the very front.
* Small zippered compartment on each side. Headphone slot in one for music players. (I use one for my mouse.)
* Handle on top and bottom. I carry it by the top hand when it is not on my back.

LOTS of room for my 14" laptop. Not quite big enough for my wife's 17" laptop.
