This case is super cute and it fits my 13" macbook air even with a hard plastic case on it. I love it! It's so cute, and it does have a lot of padding around the edges, so I don't have to worry about my plastic cover breaking. The zippers are really nice and I don't have to fight with them like I have had to with other cases! The design is also just as shown in the picture! No lighter or darker.
