This is a good table

I did a pretty thorough search through all of the laptop tables comparable to this on Amazon. This one has the one thing which I searched for in the design: The bar to hold up the laptop on the left side is located in the middle. If you were seriously going to prop up your laptop, wouldn't that give you the most stability- and peace of mind? I did see the possibility of perhaps needing to do this, which was why I focused on it.

The other issues stated in previous reviews:
-Came dinged up (Mine came out fine, perhaps your review forced the company to address an issue or you got a lemon?)
-Tall and unergonomic (I say, the specs where available. How ergonomic can a table be?)
-Too tall (Again, the specs were available...)

To be fair, all I use the table for is watching Netflix with my girlfriend on the bed. The legs do not lock, but I figured this to be a non-issue. It really doesn't matter that much for us, but it is possible for the table to collapse as you push it. Lift it up if you're going to move it sideways.

The table is solid and well built, the pictures you see are actually a fine representation of the product. As someone stated, it is pretty heavy! You could definitely weaponize this table in an emergency. Well, when we get to weaponizing I think we've explored all practical aspects of this table.

Devastated & Heartbroken

The second day i had it, my laptop slipped off the back and broke the screen. The top is extremely slippery and the depth is very narrow. Now i have no laptop, so sending back, because I have nothing to put it on. Very sad...

Too tall and height not adjustable

It came damaged and dinged up on the edges. It's very tall and unergonomic. If all you want to do is stare at your computer screen then it's fine, but if you want to interact with the keys or the mouse your arms are too high up in the air.

Sturdy and economical

I've been looking for a decent laptop desk for some time now because I do a lot of studying in bed (pre-med keeps me busy). My current one rests directly on my lap and I am forced to sit in one position while using it which leaves my legs numb after awhile, putting a damper on my study time. I also own a fairly large sized gaming laptop so it's heavy and needs a wide, solid base to sit on. This desk fit the bill for what I wanted. It came undamaged and I was surprised by it's sturdy construction for the price. It's wide enough for my 15" laptop to sit on with room to use a mouse on the side which was a big plus. The legs don't lock, rather are held in place by rubber stoppers, but unless you are really dragging it around the bed it won't collapse on you. It's high enough for me to sit cross-legged under (I'm 5'5) which is another big plus. The incline function is also very sturdy but I'll probably only be using that to read textbooks in bed.

That said, my only issue with the design is that it is fairly narrow front to back and sits high up so the weight of an open laptop leaves it very tippy on an uneven surface like a bed. If the designers had added an extra inch or two on the back I think it would have helped immensely with this problem. Being cautious with that in mind this desk works way better than anything I have found so far at the price. I would recommend this purchase in conjunction with a good bed chair for extra comfort while working in bed.

I love the width of the legs

The material are heavy duty. I would have given it 5 stars, except that the lip at the bottom of the adjustable side that I put my 17" laptop on isn't high enough to keep it from slipping down off it. I have to make a piece at least 1 inch high to hold it on. I love the width of the legs, as I'm wide bodied, and the accommodate it.
