Okay for the money far from the best but also far from the worst.

For the price point I can not complain about the battery as far as the fit and it taking a charge. now as far as holding a charge that is a different topic with this battery which I have owned for about 6 months now. at the beginning of using this battery it would last for about 2.5 hours off the charger being used. as time has passed buy now at 6 months of use the battery will last for about 30 minutes off the charge before putting the computer to hibernate. Note I have my computer set to hibernate when the battery is discharged to 3%.

The battery I received was called model PA3817 as a replacement for Toshiba PA3817U-1BRS, when I installed it the computer would not even turn on the battery light just started blinking, kept it plugged for in 2 hours to see if it would charge and start the computer but it still would not work, I do not think it is worth the trouble to return it, so will get rid of it, which is what they plan on you doing. So buy from another seller.

Works with my toshiba laptop and doesn't overheat. Only thing is, I really had to press hard to insert the battery into the laptop. I suppose the grooves on the sides didn't match up correctly. Eventually the battery fit and worked.

Decent cheap battery.
