I've been using this for about a month. I hate laptop trackpads. This little mouse gives my hand a break. I can use it on my laptop to the right of my trackpad or even on a pillow that my arm is resting on. It's plenty sensitive. The cord doesn't retract perfectly but that is not a big issue to me. Only issue I have is that it's easy to drop it while it's still plugged into the USB port and so get the laser flashing in your eyes, but that's really more a testament to my clumsiness. For $3 you can't beat this. I also bought an $8 Belkin mini mouse and I see no advantages to that more expensive one.

didn't work the first time i used it

i had a similiar mini retractable mouse from the same company that i had for almost 2 years that got daily workouts that just broke so i ordered this one. this one didn't last one week and i had to click several times for one click to work and the mouse buttons were stiff and when i would glide it across the desk it wouldn't scroll or move. it was honestly the worst mouse i have ever had. i threw it away because it took up needed space on my desk. i am back to using an old mouse that i don't care for but it actually works.

Don't waste your time

First of all, these mice are tiny. The dimensions are listed, so my fault for not looking more closely, but they're too small to be usable by adults. They'd probably be great for kids, if not for their other faults. The retractable cord is clever, when it works. It tends to get tangled on itself and often takes several tries to retract.

The real problem is that these mice (I ordered 20 for a computer lab) appear to be heavily used. The finish is scuffed & worn, the buttons on some are broken, and the feet on many have fallen out. Of the 20 I ordered, perhaps half are usable - and I'm not optimistic about how long they'll last.

Clicking mouse

A pretty good solution for those who need a portable mouse for laptop but has its shortcomings. The retractability is rather stiff, and is is rather hard to click, and clicking makes a loud clicking noise. I have no basis for comparison, as I have never had a mini-mouse before, but it seems those flaws could be corrected.
