Handy little USB light for lighting up a keyboard on a laptop

The August LED keyboard light really does light up your keyboard very nicely. The 8 LED's are very bright. I use this when I am up late and do not want my whole room to be lit up just for computer use. The cable that connects the USB to the flashlight is chrome and has a thread on a screw texture. This flashlight is great for lighting up a keyboard and I am going to use it a lot.

Versatile LED

I purchased these for my laptop computers but found them also a convenient low-light source for my desktop PCs. The ability to raise them to produce a broad light source for my keyboard as well as place them near to the desktop to not disturb others was a determining factor in purchasing three more just a few days after receiving these. Their longevity has yet to be tested but my initial impressions were "very satisfied" with their performance. I would recommend these.

Really Bright! :)
So far, so good, it's everything that they said it was. If it holds up, and there's a really good chance it will, this is as good as it gets.
It came fast with PRIME delivery, so my experience with the seller and the company that makes it (so far) is good.
This doesn't have that 'cheap-o' feel to it either, AND, the BIG thing is, the flexible arm actually (for once) does the job, it stays put, this is a lightweight piece of 'stuff', so the weight doesn't affect the arm's ability to do what it needs to do.
It's actually be a nice touch IF this had an off switch, but, I understand why it doesn't, but it is BRIGHT< and it might actually be TOO bright for my purposes, which I use it for lighting up my keyboard. I am writing this in the daytime, so by the time night comes, it may actually be too bright, really. I can always place a few pieces of Scotch Tape over it, or a this slice of paper with the tape, that would help it out a lot.

I like it fine though, I'd much rather it be too bright, than not bright enough. :)

Super bright light, not bad looking. This is great for seeing the keypad or reading in a darkened room, and when not in use, I turn the light sideways to "up light" a framed picture near where the netbook usually lives. (I know that last bit isn't necessary, but it's a great side benefit)

it's decently bright. I plugged this into the soundboard at church, and it works, so you can probably plug it into any usb outlet.
it would've been nice to have a switch on it, but I can't complain at this price.

the snake works well and holds up the light without drooping.

I usually surf t night while the tv is on and I don't like a lot of light on. This thing fit the bill perfectly. Arrived in a nice resale box with English on the front and several other languages on the back. Plugged it in and it worked perfect. Seems to be made of decent materials and the LEDs are very bright. The flex neck holds it in the perfect position to use with out blocking the screen. Several reviewers have complained about there not being n on/off switch.. I'm glad there isn't because one of two things would happen: Either the price would go up or it would be such a cheap switch it would break. This is an awesome alternative to a light up keyboard.
