Excellent product for the money

Perfect for my needs as a 2nd year Engineering student, I'm really happy with this laptop, the Nvidia graphics really stands up to Solid works, AutoCAD and Movie making applications well, not to mention the occasional gaming. Plan on installing a SSD soon, but that's not to say the 1TB 5400 rpm HDD is a slouch, it boots fast and runs quietly. The touchscreen is a dream to use, there is the occasional miss step with two finger gestures on the track pad, but overall I'd recommend this laptop to anyone who wants something that they can take anywhere and can keep up with the day to day tasks. Also the adaptive battery works well...getting between 6 and 7 hours on a charge. I love it so far.

Bad Windows 10 upgrade experience

I don't know if it's the laptop or Windows 10 or me, but the first thing I did when I bought this was upgrade to Windows 10. The upgrade failed repeatedly, both by telling me that it failed and just going to a blank screen for a long time. After the upgrade finally worked after multiple tries, it was usually very slow, taking up to 20 seconds to have the 'start menu' (or whatever it is called in Windows 10) to come up. I returned it.
