Bait and switch

Beware! What I just received is a basic little computer and not the awesome one with a touch screen and backlit keyboard described. Now suddenly the hundreds of reviews are gone. The 200 answered questions are gone and the description has changed. This is sold and shipped by Amazon. This is unbelievable and unacceptable flim flammery. Let me be very clear about what I am saying. 3 days ago when I purchased this item it was highly rated with a description and reviews describing it's backlit key board and touch screen. There were over 100 reviews. Today there are 6 and it is rated 1.6 stars. The reviews are gone and the description has changed.

Update: Amazon quickly issued a refund and picked up the laptop the next day. But darn it, now I have to find what I was looking for at that amazing price.

Now that I am less wound up I can say the computer seemed fine. Initial setup was easy and it was ready for Windows 10 to be downloaded immediately.

Duped by Amazon but still nice

It appears I was also duped by Amazon with this purchase. I researched laptops on Amazon for 2 months and when I found this under $300 and over 200 fantastic reviews, I hopped on it. There was one very detailed review that provided steps to remove bloatware and gave other tips to enhance the system's productivity. After it arrived 2 days later (prime), I returned to the product detail page and all of the reviews were gone including the detailed one I wanted to use to adjust my computer. There were approximately 6 reviews and the average rating was reduced to 1 star. I read the reviews and realized that the low ratings were for the bait and switch by Amazon. I read that Amazon was offering refunds, but it was a replacement for my college son who was returning to school within the week so we just kept it. It is very nice, extremely nice picture, and very responsive. There wasn't any bloatware on it and Windows 10 downloaded promptly. I'm only giving it 4 stars because I basically purchased this with no point of reference so I don't know if it will be a quality laptop at the end of the day. The bait and switch thing was just too coincidental since it was back to college time.

I received this laptop today and was pretty disappointed. It's not silver like the pictures indicate, but fine the description says
BLK" so that's on me. However, 2 of the 3 USB ports would not work at all. The best thing I can say is that it didn't include a ton of bloatware.
