The 5749 is good but I have only had it 2 weeks so really can’t say
too much about it. It has great screen and processor. Very good build
quality. Also the screen has good viewing angle without any color
distortion. The speakers are also great with superb sound effects. It
sound has a premium feel to it. Superb for this price range. One last
thing, it doesn’t look like refurbished, it looks like new.

I like this laptop because of the price and features. So far there has not been a single glitch! Quick start ups, bright, clear 17 inch screen with vibrant colors. I am very pleased with this choice. Screen is large and clear and the backlighted keypad is a must. Battery life is pretty good. The laptop looks fabulous and there is no look of refurbishing. Love it!

The size of the screen is perfect for me. Very clear and bright. The price is good too for an i5 processor. I knew this is a refurbished model but I do think it is pretty new. No scratch or dent. No wear. Am I the only one to get the good luck? haha...Will recommend this to my friends.

NOT MANUFACTURER REFURBISHED!!!

So Far no Good. First, this is not manufacturer refurbished. This part of the listing is a ABSOLUTE LIE. The back of the computer says "refurbished to dell specifications by Genco". I don't know who Genco is, but they're not the manufacturer. So, what's the big deal? Well, first, the touch pad feels loose and clunky. Second, none of the multi touch functions work properly. When you try to open the dell app to fix them, it won't open. So unless this gets straight right away this thing is going back. On top of all that, the unit self feels loosely built and overweight. Additionally, the way the power cord plugs in and sticks out over an inch, it is sure to be broken in no time.
