Perfect fit, exceptional for my replacement for my gateway laptop. I only wish I had purchased this in the beginning instead of ordering other products that didn't fit and had to be returned. Other than "Chicony" others don't work and are of a lesser standard of quality. After all you get what you pay for . :)!

Works! (With One Complaint)

The good:
I received this charger as a replacement for my "Gateway NV57H54u" laptop. The charger is working perfectly for several days now and hopefully will not crap out on me! :)

The bad:
The cord that came with the charger (the part that plugs from the wall into the transformer [the large part]) is a very oddly shaped plug, probably meant for another charger; however, simply using the old one worked perfectly. The included cable is also quite short, so if you have the original, that is highly recommended.

The summary:
I bought this over a $5 replacement charger because technology has a tendency to give you what you pay for. This was also cheaper than buying the charger directly from Gateway ($10 cheaper after shipping and tax, roughly). If you need a replacement charger and it works with your laptop model, then this is a good choice to save a few bucks over buying directly from Gateway (or your laptop manufacturer). Charger shipped on time as well.

have a gateway nv57h94u and it is what i needed. bought one of the $9 chargers that didn't work, this did. power side of the cord was a little shorter so i just used that side of my old adapter. would buy again (even at 3 times the price of the cheep ones that don't work)

Poor condition, hardly works, breaks in one day.

I've bought this charger three times from this person. All three times, when the charger arrives, it breaks within one day. First off, when I get it and open it in it's box, the charger is wrapped around itself, which I'm sure contributes to it's poor condition. When I unwrap it and connect it into a port and into my computer, I have to constantly wiggle the part connected to my laptop ( which is a Gateway ) until it connects. If I move an inch while i'm trying to charge my computer, it will stop charging and I'd have to start wiggling it around all over again. Each time I buy a charger from you, I expect a different, better-condition charger, but it's always the same. I've wasted more than 100$ on chargers that break the next day.
