Cheap, works ok... could be better

This was cheap, arrived quick, and works with my Acer 5532 laptop.

After few days of using it, I'm getting frustrated because the round plug that goes into the laptop just slips out constantly. It's not a secure fit, so I look down and it's disconnected sitting in my lap.

It gets the job done, but not as good as the original part.

Laptop AC Adapter...not what the picture shows

When I ordered this product, I thought I was getting what the picture showed, I did not get that. the cord that is pictured is just like the original one where the end that plugs into the laptop has a bend in it ,well the one that I got does not have the bend and is completely straight and keeps unplugging from the laptop. Any movement and it comes out. It was a cheap price so I guess you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this item as it unplugs all the time, unless you have it on a table/desk and don't move it.

I've had better

This product will get you through in a pinch, but is junk and does not work for long. I enjoyed the low cost option, but when I recieved the product it had 2, not 3 prongs. It was very short compared to my current charger, and the prongs are loose, they fall out regularly. I would looked past the short cord and cheap connection, but when it stopped working after only 6 months I couldn't justify a decent review. It is junk, but if you don't want to spend at least $20 on a power cord this is what you might be stuck with.

I was a little bit skeptical about this product because it cost me less than five dollars. Having just spent about $50 on another replacement AC Adapter that was too short, always ran hot and broke within a few weeks, I just needed an affordable solution that would get my computer up and running ASAP.

Surprisingly (for the price) this product was exactly as pictured and seems to function just as well as the original adapter that came with the laptop. Recommended.

Plug falls out of Acer 5532 but an easy fix

The original adapter for my Acer Aspire 5532 laptop got ruined so when I found a replacement for such a low price I jumped at the chance. After shipping I still got it for less than $10.

Be mindful that if you have the laptop that I do the plug will constantly fall out. It is not a secure fit at all. It is, however, an easy fix. Three strips of fabric tape and that plug isn't going anymore.

If this isn't the right solution for you, definitely buy another product for you Acer Aspire 5532 laptop.

Makes It Worthwhile..

When my original adapter was lost, I bought a replacement for under $15.00; within 6mo, it's case separated, and 3mo later, it superoverheated, then failed.. when I received it's replacement, this adapter, I immedeately noticed the difference in quality. I've a strong feeling that I won't be replacing it in 9mo, like the last adapter..

Great Charger For My Acer 5532 Laptop

Charger was slightly shorter but fit just like the one that originally came with my laptop. Don't get me wrong it wasn't too short, I was able to sit on my couch and still plug it in 3 feet away. Great charger while it lasted, apparently it tasted good too cause my dog ate it! Looks like I'll have to get another.
